If you're already using serena you should be on Restored Relic with every max ammo mod, max ammo on AT board, ammo dog, ascending armory externals. If you're running low on ammo make sure to cast repentance on the elites and go to town. VEP 10 is second monitor content with the right build.

You still swap to firing fiesta LD for bosses, but full cored RR invested will kill elites no problem once you get there. Other anon who said ACG is right too, it's a good third option for all around killing if your RR is totally out of ammo. Pubs are probably hit or miss since the only people still running them are either there for a medal or looking for a carry. Mixed crowd probably.

Most Arche tuning builds grab the cooldown reduction node, whether your guy nukes or buffs. From there, either scoot on down and grab more skill power (if nuking) or scoot to the right and up and do some mutant cell stuff (but save that for when you know what you are doing), or if you are a gunscendant go left and get some more gun damage.

Triggers are good but that comes after arche tuning, there usually isn't much choice so don't sweat it.

You get a multihit chance, which when it triggers does bonus damage based on your multihit. You can think of it as crit but instead of your hit getting bigger you get a (usually) smaller hit in addition.

All guns have multihit damage as base but every gun I've checked has 0% multihit. Additional multihit damage is basically always multiplicative with this base chance, while additional multihit chance is additive. So 15% on damage is meh, 15% on chance is actually pretty big.

I am like 70% sure you don't get additional effects like crit or status effects on multihits, if someone more cluey than me could confirm that'd be great.

The best multihit mods dump crit stats and good crit guns usually don't have good multihit so usually if you go for one you don't build the other.

You can go over 100% but I don't think anyone but Serena can do so due to her multihit bonus. She's best at making combination multi / crit build work just as she is best at practically everything gun related.
Also, Crit resist is a thing but to my knowledge multihit resist is not, which is yet another way Serena dumps on the meta that Gley and Hailey can't match and a big reason why she beats down wall crasher so hard.

Def for pretty much everything.
There might be some res usage for storm hanger, as it deals elemental damage and def does nothing there. But you can just switch a single component out with elec res (the memory comp).
Resistances require flat resistances first to do anything. And base is like 10. If you don't have any on your components (and you don't really want them, there are better stats) the resistance cores do literally nothing.
The only res you could get are electrical and toxic, as their components have the worst choice of stats anyways, but apart from electric, as mentioned above, when do you ever need toxic resistance?
Switching comps around with the right res for the job is just unnecessary and just adds even more bloat to your inventory.

I see no duration mods on Serena. Her 4 should be on permanently i.e. duration longer than cooldown
mana doesn't matter in VEP, you can complete VEP10 with Serena and last dagger on foot so you don't need any cost modules. keep the MP collector at least and swap it with the selective recovery, replace cost modules with duration, get focus-on mods if you need more cooldown, and put one magazine module on the chill priority on last dagger, until you upgrade firing fiesta and roll a magazine upgrade on a green core

I was a season 3 hoper but axion planes is disappointing and didn't really live up to the message. It hasn't dulled my fun in the game at least. Void vessel was the same failure, a "multi-path" dungeon but actually all the combat is exactly the same and there is one single boss. Once I unlock trigger mod slots on all the descendants I don't see why I'd go back to Axion. I get better resources from other places and my frames don't drop to single digits after 4 missions

It's not an optical illusion. The textures do have some red in those areas, but it's very faint. The water effect just takes whatever texture is on an outfit and darkens it, probably adds some hue or vibrancy to the color as well, so it just makes it more pronounced.

OK, I think I finally figured out how to Lepic in Axiom sector:
-frag into traction into frag to trigger thousand cuts and kill every mook.
-use red mod that powers gun to do actual damage to elites / dropships.
-Point to the 'don't die every 60 seconds or free' passive as a means to cope with being 1/2 a Serena's worth of DPS even with my buff up, also try not to think about all the other things Serena can do for team.
-Never ever, ever use the arm cannon, ever, under any circumstances.

Now I'm sad. I sure hope something in the next set of trigg modules makes unique weapons not utter garbage.
