-Corin (chainsaw goes BRRR via ex is all she's good for)
-Anton (energy ball, all about spending his energy)
-Ellen (for ex -> BA3 -> ex combo. Since buff this one takes significantly longer though)

Frankly speaking, she's not going to work well without Orphie, while Orphie herself can be played with all kinds of teams. Unless they change something about this. We just don't have good Attackers that barely take screen time and work with another Attacker AND get good gains out of energy / get a lot of passive energy.

Not really. She works well with any on fielder. Keep in mind, she's permanently dealing damage from off field, and is about burst. So all you care about is having any on field char (this can be a stunner like Robutt as well), and then a support/stunner on top. That's all you need.

Yes, of course Seed is the best, but she's nowhere near as rigid. We have plenty of on fielders that don't need two non Attacker slots filled. It's quite different to what Seed requires, off field (or burst) Attackers. Most of this is extremely cope.

The time to build a character's level and stats is standard for a Mihoyo game. Anecdotally as a day one player I have able to, with repeated attempts, fully beating Shiyu and Deadly Assault with my discs that only represent a few day's worth of energy. I throw in the bare minimum of effort into getting the appropriate discs. I'm 100% certain they plan it so that if you're constantly hitting the gacha you have barely any energy for discs. Also are you using the Music Store? It's especially useful for avoiding the Routine Cleanup stages which don't have both discs be useful. I also aim for discs which are more general e.g. instead of element-boosting disc sets, anomaly characters get anomaly disc sets and attacker characters get attack/crit disc sets. It's not optimal for a specific character but it does mean you get discs more applicable to a wider range of characters.

Jesus Christ 2.2 is such a gigantic and easy skip patch. There's no way that Seed and Orphie will reach the same level of relevance and popularity as Yuzuha and Alice did. Yixuan and Fufu too, actually. In fact I'm kind of surprised that Yixuan got popular. I always thought she would be exclusively just a metafag character like Neuvillette or Mavuika in Genshin.
