First of all, those 3 pix add up over time. And since 1 of 3 arcanes is meme tier, you end up getting more peely packs.
Secondly - issue is not that I need them - it's the fact that because they exist I am incentivized to pick them, otherwise I will be missing on rewards. In a gamemode, where getting all rewards even without them is a challenge due to random loadouts/random debuffs/ random teammates/ random bullshit.
It's similar to DBD, where because A exists, nobody uses B / nobody does C activity / players are forced to do D otherwise it will be a detrement. Here - the detrement is a waste of time/unoptimised runs.
I'd be much happier if they didn't exist / did something else / random 3 stickers gave you the extra pix instead.
Also, vosphor is a meme. I have so much of it - I run out of credits instead. And I really don't want to do PT unless double money weekend is up.

I'm in a pickle.
I want to subsume some fun stuff into mirage.
I wanted to do null star for the funny damage resistance stacking in a pinch, and a passive dr while getting the buff from eclipse.
But if I'm already subsuming that then I might as well build her for the null star augument too.
But for that I'd slot on archon vitality.
And if I'm slotting on archon vitality, I should keep sleight of hand since that has heat traps.
But to get more heat traps from health orbs, I'd need to slot on the augument for it.
So now this idea went from a funny little infusion to a 5 augument (A. Vitality is basically a heat ability augument) build that is all over the place and has questionable efficiency sice I'm infusing over her 4.

So my queation is: am I overthinking this? Is any part of this actually effective? Or is most of it misconception?

Kinda sad to see how formulaic the game became after I quit in 2013, they never really ran with it content loot wise. It's basically the same everywhere and most major systems were added early on. The adversaries like Stalker were cool when they were a rare thing with great loot, now they are power crept and the game has no chase item or rare events that makes you want to keep running shit other than deterministic brain dead farming on C rotations. It needs a Zod Rune/Tyreal's Might super rare list you could come across. Some really strong air support, golden big dick landing craft, showy weapon, orbiter segment to invade other peoples session and a dark spirit and gank them for a reward and CONCLAVE STANDING, etc. So much they could do with it and you just know they'll milk the retarded kisake barbie retard demographics who freak out if it isn't an open world with a shitty syndicate or two you ignore in Tau.

It’ll be that way until you get around double digits where it slows down a lot. I try to always have a maxed out carry weapon and everything else equipped is for MR grinding.

Quick notes: you get no mastery from leveling up a weapon you’ve already mastered and forma’d. Join a few railjacks when you’re able because unlocking the intrinsics gives a huge mastery boost, same for Duviri. In the market you can sort for weapons with blueprints available for credits and if you haven’t, join a clan and get stuff from there as well since there’s a wealth of blueprints from dojo research.

If you actually use it frequently then yeah, it's not a very big boost to their survival but I feel like most things to do in Warframe (outside of just MR and repgrind) is picking stuff you like and trying to make it as good as possible.
It's not really a huge grind, just cook 6 genetic codes and revive 4 Vulpaphylas, that's basically it. Mostly just waiting.
Don't remember if you even need the pet to be max rank or gilded to copy the genes, but even then that's just less than 3 minutes in ESO to max them out even without boosters thanks to how affinity sharing works for companions.

Will it ever matter if your pet has all 4 mutagens? Probably not outside of 1 or 2 times when they're left with 1 HP right before killing an enemy.
Is it worth doing if you actually like using a Vulpaphyla? Yeah, it's a pretty easy grind that actually gives it increased stats forever with no drawback.

Also now that I think of it, you could even just trade with someone to get an imprint of their pet with all mutagens too, though can't really do it via Warframe.market due to it not listing any gene specifics.

First thing to do is knock out The Duviri Paradox so you get access to Circuit, which is a kind of roguelite mode. Then do every star chart node until new war to unlock Steel Path. Steel Path circuit gets you incarnon upgrades for older weapons like the Soma Prime, which should be coming up in two weeks.
