Star Rails success needs to be studied. Gameplay and the overal presentation is for literal 12 year olds, and the story is written in such a pseudo philosophical way, like its meant to be read and understood by a much older crowd. Someone said that it is similar to ancient Chinese operas that were writen in a similar style.
Its just a baffling decision for what is basically a kids game.

This patch was just solid. It focused more on the TB and Lygus with the heirs being vehicles to explore those two characters motivations like Cerydra seeing the TBs past and how an entire cycle happened to wait and hope for TB to he the Deliverer.
TB thinks that the "shadow on the wall" matters while Lygus wants to force enlightenment on people by tearing down the existing system of Aeons.

While I do like most of the heirs, I also really like the direction they took with this patch, and it practically justifies the slow burn of the early 3.x patches.
