Not really. And I mean specifically Tri, not 3U or P3rd that are both fine. I played GS in literally every single gen across almost every single game and the Tri one feels by far the worst because of its bizarre changes to controls like the unreliable upswing and inexplicably having to hold right trigger/bumper to do charge slash while moving otherwise you do the simple overhead poke despite holding triangle.
Spent like the last week trying to figure out if I'm insane, my dolphin is somehow fucked or this is just the way the game is. Funnily enough Tri still has the option for the classic PS2 controls (attacking through right stick) and I think this might be one of the culprits as if you've ever played Dos GS then you know the overheard and the charge slash are two separate inputs (right stick up and right stick down) and Tri might still be treating it this therefore requiring an additional button press so that the game thinks it's a different input therefore initiating charge slash instead of an overhead

I think it's crazy that they still have yet to do anything interesting with skills since the world rework. Like half of all skills are utterly worthless if you're a half decent player. We don't need more attack/crit skills either since everything dies fast now anyway until very end of the game. Tax skills are also the least interesting way to address this.
