yes, at a minimum you should do 2 playthroughs. there is so much to pay attention to and keep track of that even into a 4 or 5 playthrough youll find new stuff or see connections between events.
my second playthrough was female corpo, nonlethal stealth netrunner. slowly searching through missions to reading all the messages i skimmed over on my first playthrough.
3rd was a male nomad that used rifles and blunt weapons. traced the steps of my 2nd playthrough now that i had an even better understanding of the world.

going from GTA4's freemode to GTAO the biggest early disruption was everyone having access to Rocket Launchers at level 100, which destroyed the utility of vehicles. in GTA4 if you wanted a rocket or grenade, you had to find it on the map and players could fight over control of its spawn. Much like Halo having weapons spawns, where the gameplay model becomes fighting over weapon spawns and map control, and trying to balance the two. in GTAO it instantly created an arms race that R* was happy to monetized while ruining their game. Rockets, then armored cars, then homing rockets, cars that fired rockets, flying bikes that fire rockets. if you are just a random person with a rifle and a car trying to do a mission, power creep made the basic gear worthless and the meta tedious and expensive

Sad isn't quite the right word maybe, but I'm disappointed that that entire complex is locked off before and after the gig, its vastness triggers my FOMO and I feel compelled to search every square inch, though I never have because I know, disappointingly, that there isn't anything hidden down there, and the whole thing makes me painfully nostalgic for Armored Core and that era of games, because the map is reminiscent of something from AC, and there deginitely would have been some kind of legendary wrapon or other hidden gem in a place like that back then.
It evokes a lot of feels for being just some throwaway setpiece vista.

It would be an interesting concept, everyone owes money to someone in night city, why not owe it you. The main problem the game created is that there's nothing you can spend the money on unless someone makes a system that lets you spend it, something like limited ammo and eddies, weapon maintenance, car gas, rent, food, etc.

I still think that despite it being the “worst” of the endings, the Devil ending is the strongest one narratively.

it had a well crafted twilight zone feel. a good choice having it be one of the two default endings. i see both as a hint of the V didnt find purpose. a motto that follows cyberpunk is that you cant save the world, only yourself. with this game placing V in a situation where they cant save the world or themselves. that maybe this time, all you can do is try to save someone who is worth it or tie up loose ends with the time you have left. each end leaving V's opinion vague enough for the player to see what they want
