How easy is it to port over the maps from previous battlefields? I think they are still using frostbite. Would it be as simple as just copy/pasting the assets? If so to win over everyone wouldn't it just be easiest to just port over all the maps from 3/4.Hell, even hardline since they are all modern day

If you want to try and force a fight at 35+ meters all the time, then go for it buddy. The moment you find yourself in a situation where you're not prone and hiding in a corner, you're going to be in trouble with your pea shooter. Low recoil assault rifles are always a noob trap. For the M4A1 and the AK-205 the difference is 133ms, making it about 66% slower than the M4A1 in TTK

The combos also barely change since you're forgetting that the M4A1 also can equip an increased multiplier up to 1.70, the AK-205, although equippable with a 2.10 multiplier, suffers from a lower BASE damage
The accuracy is nice, but the lower base actually means that you are able to miss shots leading into a first shot HS and still have a faster effective TTK than the AK-205 opening with a first shot HS, even if the latter does not miss any of the followup shots

They are literally filler front-loaded live service skins. Happens in every game. The good stuff will come out later, maybe in a separate special bundle even. What is the point of a 3 shot-to-kill DMR? Why would I ever use it over either a 4-shot-to-kill AR/Carbine or a 2-shot-to-kill DMR?

Unless the 417 is as good as BF3's SCAR-H, I think it's the best of the Carbines. I really don't like the M4 all that much, it's fine but I just like the AK better. I've been running it with the 1.5 red dot and it absolutely FUCKS at every range. Although I would say to not put a laser on it, the laser isn't aligned with your ironsights or optic so it throws off my aim a little bit.

I hate the fake """vets""" spread dogshit opinions and straight up fake facts about this game. Battlefield 4 was unlikely any other game in the series and it was completely dogshit compared to any other game, even 2042. It had awful maps, op tanks and planes that made playing a chore, zero recoil guns that allowed aim sweats to dominate matches back to back, and gadgets were awful to use.
BF6 is a true return to the form BF3 and prior games were like. Infantry gadget use and smart play matters the most, vehicles are effective but not OP, maps are more catered to using points to naturally drive choke fights rather than just being about people constantly switching up objectives.
Even the "MAPS ARE TO SMALL I CANT JUST CAMP WITH A TANK AND WINNN DICE PLS HELP" shit is unwarranted as the only map that's actually small by BF standards is the new york one added this weekend and even the game states its a small infantry only map. Also we're getting 3 boring garbage BF4 style maps at launch so I don't see what this bickering is about, just like the dogshit crying about closed weapons or the server browsers, things that are already in the game but people need their youtube clickbait.

It's important to consider the Frostbite games always get better post-launch.
BF6's beta is significantly better than 3's and 4's were, so while there are many problems, it has room to grow
This does NOT necessarily mean it has a higher ceiling though because this game uses Baattlepasses to deal out DLC. There will not be 16 big maps post-launch like there with BF3 in 2 years. So it either needs to get quality maps faster or it needs more than a 2 year support cycle.

tl;dr BF6 is ahead of where 3 and 4 were at beta, but potentially has less of a runway to work with.
