Kiriko in her canon design, has no tech, has no augments on her, and her Kitsune is just summoned from within her without any sign of tech.

She Teleports to others magically without a translocator, teleporter, or time anomaly to explain how she just instantly appears both in game and in her own short.

The Shinto torii that she magically summons also empower people without any technology. She isn't injecting anyone with nanomachines or filling them with biolight, its literally just magical power ups.

Her Ofunda also magically float and heal people using shinto magic, not nanotechnology or anything.

ALL of Kiriko's abilities come from her shinto priestess grandmother, not from anything tech oriented from her mother.

Even if you want to say somehow the Torii, Kitsune, and Ofunda are all hard light, you have to ask where are they coming from? Nowhere in her lore, outfit, or anything does it explain that any of it comes from anything other than "Shinto Magic."

The biggest issue with Wuyang is that there's nothing about his kit that lets him swing a fight. LifeWeaver is in the same situation, which is why he can't find himself into a meta.

Weaver is considered niche/bad in all ranks. He's had one of the worst pickrates (the most reliable stat for hero-strength because winrate is impossible to adjust for an accurate representation) and the lowest winrate among supports for almost his entire existence.

The reason why winrate isn't a great indicator of hero strength is because heroes that are picked very frequently will always have a winrate closer to 50% than other strong heroes that are picked less often.

Let's create a hypothetical for Lucio and Ana. Both heroes are picked in every single game. Lucio is picked every game by both teams because he's the strongest hero. Ana is picked every game by only one team. Lucio will both win and lose every game, making his winrate 50%. Ana could win 51% of matches and still have a higher winrate despite Lucio being the strongest hero.
When evaluating hero strength pick rate will always be the best indicator assuming people mostly pick heroes that are strong in the meta.

I think both are true. His kit is inherently weak because of what I explained earlier. Other supports have tools that can flip fights on their own. Weaver is just constant healbotting, which is weaker than burst heals and damage output, which is something most support are capable of. Support that can't burst heal, Like Lucio or Juno, have utility that is very impactful on its own. Grip can save someone, petal can be used in a clever way, but neither can produce as much value as other supports' cooldowns.
All characters can be made strong just by boosting their numbers. The problem with that is how those heroes will eventually need to have such heavy numbers that they become too powerful and hard-meta. It's easier to balance heroes that have cooldowns capable of making up for shortcomings than heroes that need numbers big enough to keep them relevant.

You can play Lucio effectively without putting much time into practicing wallriding. Ground Lucio is still very useful, just a bit boring. I'm a big believer in the idea that Overwatch should be fun, and in my opinion Lucio is the most fun character in the game. If you're playing him to his maximum potential. You can set Steam to download cached shaders and precompile them in background but my CPU is ancient and it was updating them and compiling for 30-60 minutes every day so I disabled it and live with occasional stutters after the game updates and after graphic driver updates it lags for about ten minutes so I just load a replay and let it run (practice range doesn't seem to work for that).

A few interesting observations about EU matchmaking:
Amsterdam server has better tanks but awful supports. Lots of gays and WOMEN. The women are a bigger problem because they lack any hand-eye coordination and have zero gamesense. Spectating them, you get the impression that they're in a constant state of confusion.

The Helsinki server has horrible tanks but good supports. The supports are mostly men, and consequently they play like normal people with brains.
