Finished Arc's route. It was amazing until the tragic, unexpected death of Nvrnsqr... then it kinda sucked. The romance was awful (seems to be a trend in Nasu's works) and the True End felt unnecessary, but the fights were kino and Arc is a real cutie so all is forgiven.

I really, really wanted to like Robotics;Notes but I just couldn't... The MC is boring and holds back the plot for 80% of the VN, the 3D models looks like shit, the choice system is among the worst I've ever seen, and the story is cut up between the conspiracy portion and the "building a robot" portion, but neither plotline is particularly interesting in isolation. They didn't even go that in-depth regarding the engineering of the robot! Most of it was handwaved, or they introduced ridiculous scifi concepts because they couldn't be asked to concot a proper explanation for how the robot worked! Then the game ended out of nowhere! It fucking sucked! I don't even like to think about R;N or DaSH. It just makes me sad. At least Rocket Autism exists to satisfy my engineering autism...

What a massive disappointment this detritus has been. If I were to compare it to something, in Maggot Baits clicking fast, not skipping through the worthless H scenes had a point for everything else; from the drives of the characters, to the esoteric elements/sex magic vaguely connecting to them, to the point of resisting degeneracy, and the very obvious fact that the ones writting the H were different to the ones writing the main plot.
