I think Teldrassil is probably the biggest shattering of the suspension of disbelief needed to enjoy any work of fiction that the game's ever had. I got to level 30 on the PTR, I have only ever gotten 1 1% XP increase item so far and it was a quest reward.
And the traits are nowhere as strong as the gems, I had a rank 5 aoe proc trait that is genuinely about 10x weaker than the meteor aoe proc gem from mop.
