If POE2, keep running as much rarity as possible in the campaign, it's super underrated and makes your campaign run easier by letting you splurge exalts more. Try to cap your elemental resistances (reach 75%).

High DPS weapons, if you use attack skills. Highest movement speed boots you can life. Life+resistances.

Unfortunately not really, you're gonna have to trawl through many of them for good info, and many are ass. I advise you just be skeptical of overproduced professional youtubers.
Off the top of my head, I think sargetwo, 787prada have some very useful POE2 videos, but it's more just covering specific stuff and not a generalist guide.

Warrior was just okay, elemental sorceress was pretty fun and is visually stunning but was a bit slow, I'm running kind of a combo chaos/minion witch right now and having a blast with it. My kit is great for crowds but I can tell I'm slowing down on my boss fights so I think I'm gonna lean away from the minion stuff and go for more curse/debuff stuff, that actually seems to be doing the most damage. That's your secondary weapon set, only one of those is active at a time. Press X to swap between them. For now, focus on your main set, bonuses from the 2nd one won't work when you're not swapped to it.

It's an area with special rules (just read what the game tells you as you go along) that will let you upgrade to one of the 3 prestige classes (ascendancies) available to your Witch class. For a chaos dot build, you want to take Lich. You can change it later by redoing the trials, it's not a permanent decision anymore.

The thing is the precursor area isn't entirely off the mark for act 4 since we know Kingsmarch is the main town (not Karui) and there's the twilight order island (not Karui). It seems reminiscent of act 2's epilogue at Garukhan's tomb. It's possible that this is an act 5 teaser as well as the "recovered from a burning library in oriath" text post on reddit. Additionally, we have to meet the new Oriathan's at some point and I highly doubt Kirac will be waiting around in Kingsmarch or nu-Oriath. The point is you have the option to if you're clever enough. A lot of spell builds pass left to right for unnatural instinct and suppress nodes. Dex stacking totems pass through there for free suppress cap. Champion guardian and scion pass through there to make superlative aurastackers. Ssf evasion builds like trappers will path down through there for good trap nodes, duration and getting the marauder resistance nodes. The travel through the center gives a lot of flexibility to builds you probably aren't aware of
