You can usually tell in game by their actions and how coordinated they are. A healer going out of their way to save someone in a bad position, the entire team deciding to focus you if you annoyed one guy too often, the entire team focusing you if you're low, a dps running to help another dps chase a kill, extremely grouped together with instant peeling if you pressure someone on their team etc stuff like this can happen with solos but if its on a consistent basis its most likely a stack and is probably the leading cause of stomps in this game. You can check player profiles after the match and 9/10 times its a two 2 stacks or 3 stacks in group because the same players are in all their recent matches on their team. They fuck up the solo experience because you cannot possibly hope to be as coordinated as them especially if the other stack you've been paired with on your team are selfish and only care about coordinating with themselves

This was in a high diamond lobby, 2 healer team with Rocket. The thing you need to be doing as Adam to win more is switching off of him. He's excellent and one of my very favorite parts of the game, but he simply will not work on certain teams. I don't mean he only plays well with certain characters and comps, I just mean the actual players. It can be slow or it can be fast, but the team has to be on a similar tempo to itself and they have to establish an idea of a frontline to fight on or behind. If you die once or twice without getting that vibe from your team, just switch. You aren't going to be able to wrangle those cats. You can still win, you shouldn't flame your team, but either pick a different healer or trade roles with someone.
