Number 1 is that the """double banner""" is a scam banner because we, the global server, are getting scammed out of a normal rerun banner and we get this shit instead. Number 2 is that the """double banner""" is not a scam by itself because, as long as you want both units, you have better odds on this double banner than on a rerun banner of not getting jumpscared on any given roll, not just the 1st/3rd/etc pity. This is also true and not up for debate because it's simply just a calculation of odds, which is not up for interpretation nor opinion, it's pure math.

The start of this melty was because the nyoposter argued that the """double banner""" should be in the op because it's not a scam banner in of itself and its a good deal if you DO want BOTH characters, which is true, and nobody should be arguing "but what if you dont want one" because its not an issue if you arent a complete braindead failed abortion retard with 3rd grader reading comprehension. Even the exception is getting rarer now because the game is way more focused on teams, there's almost 0 people who have everyone from fua but fp, or everyone from impromptu but barcarola, or who would be perfectly ok with getting 1 character and building a team based on who they got. And you gotta add that it doesnt have a shared pity, that 20% extra odds of getting a featured character doesn't compensate for the possible unilog loss if you don't manage to secure either of them before the banner ends.
