Quick has been systematically undermined by TM/Lasengle for bizarre reasons. Ultimately, I believe it's a matter of favoritism and circle-jerking at the higher decision making process with very little to non-existent checks and balances.

The servants that have been the cornerstones of hard long quests, challenge quests, have been in the past Merlin, and nowdays, still to this day despite her release 5 years ago, Castoria. Merlin has been one of Nasu's favorites, intentionally made to be outsdandingly strong specially in long fights, and Castoria obviously is Takeuchi's mandate to make a Saber-face the central unit in the game, at least gameplaywise.

Unfortunately they don't seem to think in terms of giving every command card its due diligence. They basically release a character unit which fits a certain demanded gameplay role (which will usually gravitate to be either Buster or Arts due to favoritism/bias at the top) and they are fine with that role being almost exclusively addressed by that unit, regardless of which command card it operates in. They will expect people to use them and build around them for challenging content.

There's no option or attempt at gameplay diversity when it comes to that, you're basically hostage to what this creative management wants you to mainly use.
