The game is always in a bad state when healer has a longer queue than DPS. The natural state of the game should be DPS being slightly longer than support but you can still have about a 1/3 chance of getting DPS if you queue for both.

Okay I've been playing overwatch for less than a year, mostly 5v5. I played some 6v6 today. It's fun but open queue NEEDS to go.
Just went against a team that, at some point, had Ball (x1 boop normally), Lucio (x1 boop), Brig (x1 boop), Wuyang (x2 boop with his perk) and bastion (x1 grenade boop). They had an Ana too. I won but it was terrible. I'm pretty sure most non-ult CC is in supports so the other team stacking 4 gets cancerous real quick. And they even screw themselves over since they didn't have dps passive for half of the game and I was playing JQ.

the majority of support players have genuinely terrible hero pools and no idea what their job is
they just heal bot or dps, no in between, so the supports that are willing to do a slightly more boring job win a lot more games
and there are a lot less people who enjoy peeling and macro than there are people who pick support to play no-risk DPS

Why do I struggle so much against Venture? I mostly play support. I can handle a lot of DPS on my own. Ashe, Cassidy, Sojourn, Genji, Hanzo, Sombra, Widow.
