There are already 3 fusions that summon Albaz from deck with their GY effect in the end phase. The GY effect is good. It's a nice bonus on a card that makes summoning Albaz better. It's nothing that's going to change anything unless you really wanted to search 2 Tribrig or Dogmatika cards in the endphase.
It's just a combination of Titaniklad+Brigrand's searches without having the option to summon Albaz.

And hey, if you really wanted to then you can more easily use both Fleurs in Branded now since the new one turns on the old one without needing Quem on field. Nobody will do that, but you could.

Endboards really should be as unbreakable as possible though. I mean that's kind of the whole point, isn't it? One of the things that I think gets glossed over too much is how hand traps counter hand traps. When your turn is stopped by hand traps, you still have a chance to play the game because of your own hand traps. That's why a deck like Centurion can actually be decent in spite of having poor extension through them.
Hand traps are mostly the low-impact but reliable option. If hand traps weren't good both going first and second then people would be far more likely to drop them in favor of higher impact board breakers and generic floodgates.

Consider the archetypal handtraps that do exist, like Branded's Tri-brig Mercourior. It's been power crept and isn't anything more than a small speed bump for current top decks.
My thought is that archetypal handtraps like that would get powercrept along with their respective decks.
I sincerely doubt people would run, say, Dinowrestler just because they have an archetypal handtrap that bounces or destroys something on the field, or if they had maxx c, or ash blossom, or any of those. The fundamental cards are still bad and the 'good' handtraps the deck is run for would be designed against by konami so people still buy new decks.
I'll admit that I don't actually know what would happen if such a thing was actually implemented, I'm just cynical and I doubt such a thing would benefit the game at all.

Because they all have various upsides. Geminis are basically tribute summons that can "tribute themselves". A lot of the geminis have very strong effects for the time they came out comparable to a tribute summon. Most spirits also have very strong effects for their time and in some of them the self-bounce is an upside that allows you to keep gaining value out of them every turn. Unions are basically early non-pend deck pend monsters in that they have extra versatility in being usable as an equip spell or can just be a monster and also gave you a way to combine monsters that wasn't fusion summoning.

All three mechanics have been good in certain decks in the past even if they were largely poorly balanced and the upsides usually weren't worth the downsides.
They came out in a time when Konami was just worse at balancing mechanics in general and were never really seriously revisited to be given powerful cards the way other failed mechanics like Fusion and Ritual were.
