I got an early viewing of the matchmaking explanation video. It hasn’t been release because we early viewers gave negative feedback. If the video was released in its current state, the community would be insanely pissed. They pretty much go into detail about how they rig the games, from
things like using a hidden MMR, matching you with people who play throw picks, messing with your aim assist, messing with your damage dealt and health numbers, and using a second batch of bots that you can’t tell are bots (this is why bot matches are so obvious. It’s to throw everyone off of the scent of the real bot matches, which also occur in ranked). I don’t know why they thought being this transparent was a good idea. Any way, after the feedback they’ve decided to postpone the video to reword things so that they don’t seem so sinister.

Iron Fist hasn't been able to kill the backline since 1.5 and his non-flurry combo and kick are weaker than ever. The amount of armor you get for blocking is also shit now, meaning Fist does nothing but frontline brawl poorly while his flurry is on and then waits for block to come back.
He was the worst dive before the rework and he's the worst brawler now. At his peak he was just ok.

I think Quickplay and Competitive are both equally rigged. My match quality in QP has deteriorated so much that I'm constantly given lower ELO/Ranked players while going up against people who are in my SR/Rank all the time, believe me I look at stats all the time and it seems unfairly weighed.
Like I cant even remember the last time I played with a spiderman or black panther who was as cracked as the ones that farm my backline.

-support sis crash out often and fast, even when nobody diving them. Just losing first point is enough for someone to type something in the chat
-majority of tank players suck, i think they fill. They also semi-crash out and switch to dps if can't get 2nd tank and force other to fill solo tank.
-See many squirrel/moonknight/punisher . Almost nobody plays meta dps.
-on rare occasion, you get two tanks that know what they are doing, it's usually a storm

i got put into the match at the thrid round in domination, and was wondering why the point wasnt getting taken despiet multiple people sneaking for it. then i opened the scoreboard and it all made sense.
i managed to coordinate my team to force one big push to claim the point, and even if we lost it the match would naturally end with time but ultimately we won thanks to my MK hard punishing the supports staying close one another

The balance change that made him a ‘tank buster’ was just a straight buffer to his percentage base damage, which made him significantly better at dealing with tanks and slightly better at dealing with squishies. A nerf came after in the form of reducing the distance he flew while using his machine gun punches, and that was because redditors were crying that he was too oppressive on fliers.

I play only Strategists in Ranked and in my opinion - CnD is the easiest healer to climb with in solo queue, especially if your aim isnt amazing

-Loki and Luna require more effort and team coordination to be the best healers.
They're also more intensive/demanding to play and Luna requires much more aim than CnD
-Sue and Rocket are sadly just numerically/mechanically worse than CnD
its also harder to heal fliers on Rocket/Loki
admittedly I barely tried Mantis, but she also requires aim (and not just aim - headshots)

Nah, rocket is still easier to climb due to several reasons.
First, magneto is practically in every fucking match now, and that counter c&d ult so much.
Second, rocket heal is actually more versatile because he can reach the enemy backline if you have a dive team.
Third, his brb allow your team to play more aggressive, and reviving someone is really great value.

They really should just remove thorforce if they aren’t gonna bring old Thor back. Having a special metre built around special movies but only having 1 special move and 1 super special move tied to it is retarded. You also recover it in so many ways the metre itself is pretty much negligible. You want to awaken but your metre is empty? Just bonk and hammer throw and you’re ready to go. The character is such a mess. He was perfect before. He was just too slow or needed his bubble to be more of a shield than the useless crap it was.

They're really not.
>sustain healers, so not good at healing burst damage
>not good at healing multiple targets
>will rarely, if ever, contribute to kills and overall not good at killing enemies
>not great at dealing with divers
>ult is ok, but is often a bit too delayed and clunky compared to other healing ults for solo play

Loki & Luna are lightyears better, but if you absolutely do not want to play them. Both Rocket and Ultron are better picks.

Trading an ult for an ult is ok, but you should also have your team shoot phoenix after she uses ult to deny her from destroying yours assuming the enemy has a phoenix, or you just ult after hers or when she's dead. Allies become impossible to target and headshot, so enemies have to blind fire. If enemies don't have strong aoe damage, most shots will miss, which is an extremely high boost to EHP.
Enemies become invisible to their allies, which means healing or buffing them becomes much more difficult or basically impossible depending on the hero.

Emma has exactly 2 skins. 1 at release, 1 in the battlepass. Then in the beach season they prioritized male characters.

This game is best played 2 2 2 because half the tanks suck dick without a tank buddy, solo support is 99% of the time completely invisible, and playing against 3+ supports is aids. That’s all it comes down to really. Like yeah, I know 3 dps can work, and even 4 dps no tank can work sometimes to, but in terms of making a balanced game where every hero gets to shine, 2 2 2 just works the best. Different playstyles are going to really speak to different people, some people have strong ties to the source material for certain characters, some people might just want to play the character with the gooner skin. From a design perspective in MR, the webs slowing is horrifically bad design unless the entire kit is built around it, because

It's not a spiderman bug. Any attack that "targets" someone will target them even if they are intangible. Some other cases are mr fantastic with his pull, widow's pull. It just happens most often with spidey because he does it the most on characters who have said abilities like CnD. If a reed walks up on your ass he's just spamming abilities non stop because he doesn't really have burst damage he needs to time with your fade. Spidermen have gotten pretty good about predicting when to press E against CnD because they all do it the same way.

It's not something he can really react with unless he's a god. Just save your fade for after the pull does damage and before the uppercut. It's way easier for you to time that than for spidey to time his pull.

Duelists have the most control over the match. Being good at killing enemies, securing kills, pressuring the backline and strategists, peeling are all hugely impactful and doesn't rely on their team much at all.

Strategists are second. Being able to keep Vanguard and Duelists alive when it matters is important, but if these players aren't actually pulling their weight in terms of impact it's borderline wasted effort. Which leaves a more restricted backline dps job, or none at all if you play a hero that's bad offensively. Not to mention being worse offensively than Duelists.

Lastly you have Vanguard and the frontliners like Mag, Strange and Emma have it particularly bad because they are reliant on getting healed enough and having their team behind them. You can't really do anything on your own. You're also almost entirely relegated to only attacking enemies around the frontline, due to your limited range and/or clunkier projectiles, which means you can't really pressure the backline at all so you're just sitting on the frontline.

If you're actually good, Duelist is the most impactful and least team reliant role.

They know healing is overtuned, they just need to rip off the bandage and do a flat 15-25% cut to the left click healers. Anti-heal never should be a solution because it invalidates the rest of the cast instantly.

Take Mag for instance. If your team is on point, you will do well. If they're not on point, you will feed your ass off and have zero impact on the frontline and match.

A Hela headshotting the mid and backline creates a ton of pressure and if she gets kills even more so, since it creates a numerical advantage. If you kill Strategists it directly make the enemy team far easier to break and lead into more kills.
A diver or flanker can create a lot of space, even if they don't kill anyone, by making the enemy strategists focus on your and run away. This means their team isn't getting heals, which means they will buckle.

A Vanguard like Mag stuck in the frontline can't really create this kind of pressure.

Some of the changes have been genuinely good like the grounding on leaving lightning realm and getting a hammer back guaranteed if you cancel awakening, and just being able to cancel awakening in general. Blade doesn't pressure much in this state so you're about as useless as a Peni not using mines. There is, it's very inconsistent and he couldn't pull it off all the time and declared its the only thing that keeps Blade viable. If only that was a normal mechanic integrated in his play style.
