It saves 18s per activation, so the full 80% regression is 72s.
It's random whether the scourge hooks are near where you down a survivor. It's purely playstyle, how much value you get. If move to the hit gen anyway? Pop might've been higher vallue since it's each hook.

Sabotage, in my experience, is rarer than bodyblocking. Usually both are combined, too. Mad grit is higher value for both other situations.
It can be quite good, zmpixie has a grab and block build on Knight with Agitation, Forever entwined, Thrilling Tremors and DMS. You could probably drop FE for PainRes and make it more consistent on others killers.

And? It lasts long enough for you to see where they're going, how many of them hang close or even what gen they're parked on. With decent enough map knowledge you can predict what areas survivors are in long after LP's over. The additional two seconds of aura read are also invaluable for many aura perks, especially ones that work close range like nowhere to hide and I'm all ears.
Felt like shit taking off corrupt at first but lethal usually gives you more early pressure than just blocking gens.

Outright wrong. Before the spawntogether mechanic, they had a little spread with 2/3 survs being as far away from you as possible. Afterwards now 1/4 games they all spawn where the old survivors used to, so closer. Take the dumbbell shaped map on Mcmillan for example. You as killer can spawn in the middle, with old mechanics placing 1 survivor on the nearer end and 3 on the far end. Now you can have the closer spawn for all 4 and slow killers can easily waste 30 seconds to look for someone where noone is.

M2 to begin deducing. You learn about survivors' abilities and mannerisms. During this time you are slowed down to 2.5m/s you scribble notes into the Death Note, attempting to get a survivor's name.
You can press ctrl during deduction to guess a name. It takes 10seconds to write it down and you are immobile during it, also focused on the note.
The longer you deduce a survivor, the faster your name writing will be. This resets upon successful deduction.
Once a name is written, the survivor will walk to a hook and hook themselves on it. (A bit slower than being carried by a 110% killer, takes the closest hook, can mentally struggle against this, same wiggleout timer as being carried.)
A survivor on death-hook will impale themselves by the head on a hook.

Lightweight is better than fixated, iron will is pointless if you're not planning to get injured, calm spirit is only good against a few killers and perks. Tinkerer is just not that good either, because if the gen you're working on is progressed the killer will come over to kick it even if he doesn't hear you working on it.
The best way to stay hidden is to know where the killer is / where he's going so aura reading perks like alert and kindred are better, reduce the time on gens and in the game with dejavu and your choice of exhaustion perk to make you less of a target, sprint burst is best but countered by mindbreaker.

I've been saving iri shards to buy a new killer since I've been a killer main for the longest while, but I've been mostly playing survivor ever since the anniversary because the queues are almost instant and it's unbelievably less stressful to just work on gens.
I thought of buying the unknown, it's the only 9k killer I don't own besides houndmaster but I already have jagged compass from a shrine.
But then again, I play killer maybe once every couple weeks while I play survivor daily.
Should I buy a survivor instead?

It's a bit closer to 1.1M BP per Prestige. The way I usually get it is 1'087'000, yes it's a specific number. But *1.1 each of those things and it looks even worse. We're at over a quarter decade for P100 on each.

I do survivor pretty rarely. Usually Iri1 on killer within 2 weeks and I hang around the Golds on surv when reset is. I'm also a lot worse at survivor than killer.

I'm against a hard limit, I'd say risk and reward. You collect fog while not in chase and within 24m of the killer (this does not show up until you get into chase) you stay inside for 30s, you get a full charge.
Can hold infinite but with a hard 45s cooldown, no addons for it. You only get the charges once chase starts, so you don't have free Whispers on survivor.

I think this is because of how I suspect they achieve darkness. It's basically a version of how people used to make custom jank night maps on old games where you'd have fog/mist and replace the texture with a darker version. The fog is present on most maps. Day maps have light grey fog, night maps have dark grey fog.

The old teleport removes the fog bug shows this off pretty well.

It's a big from a year and a half ago where sometimes killers who could teleport would have the fog removed. It's not something you're supposed to be able to do and cant do with a setting. I'm using it as an example of the volumetric lighting and fog being the main reason the game looks shit. Gamma can't fix the fog because it'll only make it brighter.

The realms aren't actually darker than each other. They just have lighter or darker textures. The main difference is the fog texture is lighter or darker. Coldwind and Eyrie have light grey fog and textures, Crotus Prenn and Pantry have medium grey fog and textures, Borgo and Withered Isle has dark grey fog and textures.

You can really see how badly the fog fucks up maps on the Walking Dead map where the fog is dark green/yellow instead of grey.

Originally the old Silent Hill devs were planning on making the 5th entry take place entirely during daylight as well. There is absolutely no rule that says horror HAS to take place during night or that it HAS to be in the pitch black darkness, that's purely a personal preference and what the majority of horror related movies and games might do.

Also I mean the original Resident Evil PSX games have bright colors everywhere and no truly dark areas to speak of unlike the GameCube games and beyond. Original Alone in the Dark too and Doom and System Shock.
