Funnily enough, most part 2 suits DO boil down to ungabungaing your way through. Hell, one of Sporkle's builds is literally press weapon until shit dies, occasionally press ult if you feel like it.
With part 2 suits you'll often have two ego signets for stellar outburst, two for not using stellar outburst and one that will work with either build. Pick a path (Because of You is basically mandatory) and get whatever signets shallow sequence throws at you. Generally, Vill-V works on everyone (core 1 for phys and core 2 for elemental), much like core 2 Kalpas. Griseo red/yellow paint also generally work on everyone. Don't bother getting either core unless you can reliably trigger ult eva since the advanced signets require combinations of all three basic paints. Pardo's extra silvers help, but they're not mandatory.

It only worked because it was a side mode at the beginning and people had like an year of time to get to know all these different characters and the whole plot background.
When it finally connected to main story they could just skip all that shit and go straight to the point and serious stuff. It still was bloated to oblivion, but it was easily the best iteration of the Genshit formula.
The main reason why Seven Shus and HSR's FCs failed spectacularly at the beginning was because they incorporated all that long and boring exposition slop INTO main story.
