It's not just slow decks, but any deck that has trouble dealing damage from hand. Look at puppets, the deck is actually very aggressive early game. But, all it does is play followers and board control. It has ZERO ways of actually dealing face damage without something sticking to the board. That's why the puppet vs roach match is unwinnable for puppet, because the first time you'll ever hit their face is when you use sevo. Decks without an abundant source of burn,or storm can't beat roach. Obviously ward Haven is the exception since wards with lots of hp and aura just completely counter all forest removal.

Forest barely cares about board other than some chip damage that they don't really need, most of the fairies are used like puppets are so when puppet has nothing to remove, their playstyle is pointless and they're playing understatted 3pp 2/2's and 2pp 2/1s that are easy for forest to clear so Forest can safely keep their resources since puppet boards are only scary if Orchis is out or they coin Fighter but even Fighter dies to Lily.

Vuella is in contention for being the second best 3 drop in the game. Has a few points over valse too:
- Is a 2/4, so it can played proactively
- Can give immediate extra lethal reach alongside ghosts/mummy/odin unlike valse.

Sure, Valse probably gets the edge over vuella due to preventing game losing plays like letting T2 Beryl/Nonja live. But Valse is infinitely worse against lancer (1/1 token kills him), fairy boards and aggro/mid abyss's 1/1 cultivator/bat boards. And it sucks to play valse as a 2/1 on an empty board if you brick. Again, valse is better on average since he prevents game losing board states like 3/3s beating you down but vuella has upsides over valse early game. And vuella+exella/mummy/ghost probably wins as many as games as ambush valse despite valse being a better card control abyss would run over vuella

I've lost a good number of games with Abyss, because I had nothing playable, but a Vuella on my turn 5 against such boards Valse being able to clear those makes him the clear winner. He's also better in very late game, post evo scenarios. Too many little things going in his favor for Vuella to ever take the number 1 slot.
