I genuinely love this game, but does anyone else kinda feel like their opinion would gradually sour on it a little if future content wasn't basically confirmed?

Like if the game as it exists right now was all we ever got, I start to think I'd be a bit harder on it over time. Very lopsided character focus, lot of questions left unanswered, most routes are such direct offshoots of Second Scenario that few actually get to break away and do their own thing, etc.

I feel like I give the game a lot of passes on these things because its essentially kicking off a franchise, but if this one package was all we ever got, I'd be less charitable towards it.

I think it makes more sense if you think of the game as a narrative sandbox that he and his friends can play in.

I don't know if he's being literal about the thousand line, I think he just sees it as an aspiration. They will probably stop if and when they feel they've done everything interesting or its no longer viable to make more stuff for this game.

I'm not worried in the short-term though, they seemed very passionate tossing ideas around during the livestream. Kyohei has been pathologically addicted to writing fanfiction since the game dropped. In his interview with nuc, Togawa confirmed there were a lot of ideas they had to scrap that are now on the table again.

In a few years, we might be able to better judge whether adding more routes is worth it or if they've hit diminishing returns. But for right now, I'm not too worried. They seem to have a lot of ideas.

I enjoyed the quarter of the game I chose to play, but dlc speculation is what keeps me going after the disappointment I felt when I found how little of the game she's in because the writers made 70% of the game branch off second scenario . She was part of the reason why I got interested in the game after it's reveal in the direct last year, and the intrigue the demo made me in the story

If dlc wasn't confirmed or the game flopped, I wouldn't even bother being in these threads. If the game wasn't getting dlc, I would of ended after KG or SF and moved on to other things

Dlc routes and prequel novels are what excite me about what potential canonical content the characters I like could get
