Is a non-pyro warrior->executioner build any good?
I tried a non-pyro bladedancer->executioner build, and this shit feels waaaaaay too strong even without pyro stuff. The bleed damage alone is insane.

I’m looking for a good melee build with good survivability and damage, but not THAT good, i don't want to delete bosses in one round like it happened with Aurora.

Create green pathways from footfall to all the colonies and a few other points of interest.

Sometimes in classic fallout it feels like enemies have a 100% crit rate against you.
You'll start combat against a couple dudes with with shitty pistols and combat is just cri crit crit and then you're dead.

That's actually a really tough question. I don't think there's any middleground in this game. Either your build sucks so bad you can't do anything or it's too good and everything becomes trivial.

Pillars of eternity is incredibly overrated, Sawyer optimized the fun out of his own system and all it does is poorly try to imitate classics that are way better than it. Also the watcher power is just an excuse to text dump. Also the backer self inserts are immersion breaking.

The problem with Blade Dancer>Executioner is, as you noticed, the ease with which it manages to stack bleed effects and its high mobility. Warrior>Executioner doesn't have nearly as many attacks or mobility, but that doesn't necessarily mean fights will be harder, just take longer. Enemies become non-threatening after a while and leaving them alive for longer doesn't put you in any significant risk.

yeah honor mode is really fun. One of the postive aspects of bg3 is that the increased difficulty levels actually change encounters instead of just being stat inflation. In tactician mode, enemies have additional spells and items that they will have access to, such as fire arrows and ray of sickness. Then honor mode increases things again by adding legendary actions (lair actions from tabletop) to bosses and minibosses, some of which will change the whole nature of the encounter (especially the bulete and Ethel).

After playing dozens of games where difficulty is really just stat inflation, seeing larian put effort into their difficulty levels was very refreshing.

You have a weapon that gets +3 against anything non good(so pretty much all enemeis you face as a paaldin) and you have a weapon with the shock damage type that demons are immune and tons of enemies resist and relies on a 1d6 roll.

Bane of the most common alignment is a fucking great attribute to have on a weapon. Like, the only thing I'd prefer is anything extending crit range, which few weapons get Maybe also something like heart seeking or brilliant but it does not work on some enemies and you have toi switch.

Don't focus on the +2, since Greater Magic weapons gets everything to +5 in the end.

DH and Expanse is what will make and break Owlcat. Personally I think they were better off not improving graphics and getting the game out way earlier. Kinda dumb devs waste time on such things. Ok I found out what was happening. When swapping to unarmed, if I deactivate accept rage to make my special unarmed strike moves available, I don't get my claws back by re-accepting rage until I cast the rage song again.

I think Deldar will show up in Dark Heresy again simply because not putting them in a game with morale and terror mechanics would be a waste, especially given that they already made assets for them.
Also at least twice was Night Lords vs Deldar theme used already. I can see in DH at some point you ending up caught in a crossfire between battling Night Lords and Deldar (and Mandrakes), each using their own terror tactics against each other and innocent populace. A very nice premise to realize in a visual medium like video games

Now almost every game has to have a group of super mary sue companions that all have the weight of the world on their shoulders and every MC has to be super special and save the world. I think baldurs gate three's story is a good way to look at all the negative effects this has caused. they also made shitty e cleb cameos and shitty backer mary sues way more common it was already a thing but really rare (like the ign reporter that guessed started as a journalist in mass effect) but they shifted the Overton window from something like that being really rare to common
