29/41 of my games since libra's release which included revenant have had a frenzyflame seal
thats 70.7%, and some of those people may have just not dropped one for me
that said of those 12 remaining games
3 I was playing holy, and 1 of those I had a frenzyflame anyways but wasn't using it
of the 9 remaining games 3 I was using fof on a non-frenzyflame seal

so since aiming for it, 31/38 or 81.5% of my games I have gotten flame of frenzy in some capacity, it's a bit more than luck lol

Rally is also good, as always but especially on Wylder because pstancing greatswords will fill you up real quickly.
I dont need to tell you gaol relic is strong.
Avoid effects that lock you into a playstyle, such as "improved stance damage when two-handing" or "attack power up with 3+ [weapon] equipped".
The starting weapon skill effects are good on him, since the blue loot you'll find is only marginally better than the starting sword, so you'll get plenty of use out of it until you find a purple you want.

No, it works correctly, it just has exponentially stacking skill checks that make it become extremely difficult if your team isn't fully competent.

Let's say one team kills the adds in 30 seconds, and one kills the adds in 40 seconds. That's 25% faster, but it means one team has 30 seconds to DPS the boss, rather than 20, so that's 50% more time to damage the boss. So right off the bat we can say that the team which does damage 33% slower will take 50% longer to kill the boss. The closer you get to taking a minute to clear the adds, the more dramatic this gets. Taking 50 seconds, or 67% longer, will mean that killing the boss will take three times as long.

And if each team (30s vs 40s) at some point experiences a 30 second delay due to a downed teammate or whatever, one team might be OK whereas the other might get stuck in a loop where more adds mean more delays, they can't clear the adds in time, and then the adds start to really stack up.

On top of this they for some reason decided to make the adds get stronger the longer you fail to kill them, which means that if you at any point get into this hole it will be impossible to get out.

The way it is hard is boring. As the other anon already mentioned, there's just no "clutching" it or anything, you either start winning and win, or start losing and lose. The moment you're stuck having to run to the other side of the wall to revive your party member, it is over. the invaders getting healed, increased health, and damage amp/reduction for surviving just makes it impossible to turn the tide.

I've been the guy in the situation where he nukes you if you press a button on your controller. If it is targeted on you then have to play in a way that makes the condemned overwhelm your team, if you try to ignore it you get 3bar'd. There isn't really a way out of it the fight is poorly designed.
It isn't just that glyphing 1 person over and over thing that is poorly designed, a bunch of it is and it is all layered on top of each other to make a shit fight.

The condemned compositions make me honestly think this is a shitpost by the devs because libra memes. So much of the fight feels like griefing.

Libra drives people mad in lore so they made the invader adds that don't count as invaders as close to red man scum to piss you off as possible.
They didn't mess up, the adds are expertly tailored to be infuriating. To win you have to play a few times to even get the mechanical understanding, while suffering the rng of good or bad invader set ups, then eventually win when you get lucky enough to get a good composition. Any meta choices you try to make to tilt the fight in your favor makes the fight harder. Its pure rng of madness until you get lucky.

In that regard it is a really well done fight. But that is all sycophantic fart sniffery shit melding (((lore))) implications and memes to justify why its like it is. From gameplay it is rough, and not fun or rewarding in the classic souls fashion. But I don't think it is supposed to be, it is supposed to make you mad, literally.

It seems obvious after all the relics I've collected that some effects cannot be on the same relic together, but does anyone know the exact rules?

For certain you cannot double up on any of the "attack power" effects, which includes everything except the item damage effects from the attack power category (including crits, stance damage, etc), all weapon damage effects, and all 3+ weapon damage effects. You can, however, combine these with "Damage up when facing a ___-afflicted enemy".

Likewise I've never seen one with two character-specific effects. Nor have I ever seen one with two starting item effects.

The fact that you can have a sorcery damage and a damage type effect on the same relic suggests that the spellcasters can get a lot more damage out of their relics than other classes can

Solo shield guardian works fine but not against all bosses, sometimes you have to swap to dual halberd or something else or your DPS will take a nosedive.

But yeah, overall he kinda sucks right now, which is why both of his stat relics and his skill relic from the upcoming depths mode are the best out of all characters.
