Are you guys even a big fan of DPS test fights? I don't play MMOs but I've always assumed 99% of raids are DPS tests and being raids, you gotta do them with others. I've never really minded them in solo but I've actually never even beat Alatreon or Fatalis in multiplayer, I've always solo-hunted them in World. Libra I've done in all settings multiple times and it's kinda just demoralizing realizing my teammates and I just aren't gonna do it like halfway through.

fatalis and alatreon are pretty easy "DPS" check-wise, it was just people triple carting the problem.
The problem with Libra is it's a different kind of DPS check, as the DPS needed exponentially gets higher the worse you do.
It is ass to realize you're pretty much fucked, when I don't have any of the good NPC killer weapons, I don't even expect my allies to do any good. It's funny that I way prefer getting something like rivers of blood than the vyke spear for this fight, killing NPCs is far more important than inflicting frenzy on him, and he builds resistance pretty fast.

no i'm not a fan of DPS checks but ES libra is more of a knowledge check in terms of what to do against specific condemneds and doing the right thing to counter his moves such as preemptively preparing an aoe for when he starts summoning clones and picking up the golden balls when your madness buildup is at least 50%

it can get very demoralizing when the fight snowballs in his favor, so bring aoes to make the fight easier and don't get greedy unless you're doing the "phase 1 burst him down to really low HP and rush him" strat

Sounds good on paper, besides the fact that it's not one of the weapons that break AI, so they can all dodge roll out of the skill/attacks. The best weapon I found for Libra is this thing based on reliability to get it, fp cost, range, and damage. It doesn't knock the summons down to give them iframes and pulls them into a cluster towards you so if teammates wanna get it on it, they can help jump them. This is the only weapon I've killed a riot in a few seconds with. I'm assuming Radahn's swords are better but that weapon is so rare.

As soon as libra started summoning they would run away. Wylder with rain of arrows + birdman and there were like 6 summons up.

rain of arrows was damn near constant i couldnt even get an R1 in, the run was over by that point but birdman was running circles around the arena kiting 2 adds and reviving me and wylder every once in a while when we got 1 shot. personally my main criticism from the other revs i've seen is that they try too hard to proc madness with Flame of Frenzy, which actually just makes the fight harder because a) the cast/recovery time on that incant is dogshit and b) the self-madness buildup is significant and stacks with the madness of Libra's attacks so you're just gonna get madness-stunlocked and die. The fight really isnt that hard, just pickup any kind of AoE skill/spell and then stand next to the goat as they summon and spam everything + your ults. They all die in 5 seconds, the goat gets hit with all the cleave, and the fight without the condemned distracting you is very straight forward. The fight gets out of hand when you split up and pussyfoot around the condemned, they are designed to waste your time until they get stacks of the damage/defense buff, and the longer they live the longer you go without getting the buff they drop.

I have a doubt about holy attack power +2 from relics. Will this raise the attack of starting weapons that were imbued with holy from another relic? I will give forest credit because the bosses aren't always in the same spots, and it can be approached from 3 different angles, making it fairly non-linear. All other shitting earths are boring though, because its the same route every time and getting people to deviate is hard because there really is an objectively correct path through them.

Forest is also a great litmus test for retards, if anyone pings the fort you know instantly they are dead weight.
