NIGHT CITY ALIVE is the redmod mod that adds all the gang violence; there's also the non-redmod mods: "ENEMIES OF NIGHT CITY" and "THE GANGS OF NIGHT CITY". There's also "THEY WILL REMEMBER" which adds reputation to factions. Dunno what you're looking for but those are some others that I always get mixed up.

There are multiple mods that are not insignificant things that fucking break the game. Mods that are small enough to go unnoticed as not being updated but still big enough to have been downloaded by thousands of people and which are quietly FUCKING YOUR GAME IN THE ASS. I went through this with updating to 2.3. I ended up reinstalling the entire game fresh and all my mods one by one as a result.

Do NOT believe people who say "most everything works". That fucking "weeeee" mod can break the game apparently? BROWSER EXTENSION which is listed as a requirement for Virtual Car Dealer can break the game. Deceptius Quest Core in my case anyway seemingly breaks the game. "Realistic Map" potentially? breaks the game, instant CTDs because they changed how map shit handles something or how memory pools work, or SOMETHING. Then again, the game itself could also just be BROKEN. CDPR themselves is one thing, now they're outsourcing its development. Preem Weaponsmith apparently works but is also half-broken.

These are just examples I personally came across after HOURS of checking, several of which I struggled with. Who the fuck would expect a MAP TEXTURE REPLACER would be CTDing them in a fucking game full of script mods?

I think people are running all sorts of quality settings, I know I'm using mid and low. Good thing photomode doesn't show framerate. It doesn't bump up graphics at the picture taking, though. The native DoF is just really aggressive, you can use it but you should tweak it so it doesn't muddy the objects you want to show. I think most aren't using luts.

He doesn't want to turn the Western world into a secondary Japan, he wants to completely ruin them spiritually. Night City is a cancerous tumor that parasitically eats away at every single human decency on the continent by just existing and that is on purpose. Without Arasaka backing Night City's independence covertly it collapses in on itself in just 2 years (Tower Ending) and becomes another part of the NUSA.

ive been through the game a bunch of times. Masamune was always a favorite. on my last character I switched back to it late in the playthrough. And turned the difficulty down to Normal since 2.0 harmed gunplay on Very Hard by making enemies to spongy and no longer fun. So that if you arent using Sandy damage and crit Buffs while sneaking (doesnt make sense to slowing time while crouching still) its pretty much impossible to 1 headshot kill some enemies in gigs, nullifying stealth builds. But normal is fun.
it might be something to change if you think damage feels bad. no matter the difficulty, BloodPump, Biomon, Tech health regen perks pretty much make you invincible. then you just have to figure out what feels more fun 1 magazine of headshots or 1-2 bursts of headshots.

in Console Commands in its CHEATS tab all the way on the right, search for
"WEAPONS Conversion to Legendary [ONLY equipped ones]"

it seems after 2.0 the removed the Masamune crafting spec. that used to be my old play, head to City Center's Gunstores and buy their crafting spec, then build new ones when the damage started to fall off. But now its gone, and crafting new ones no longer scales damage to V's level, but scales to the weapons rarity. so a common Masasume will forever do common damage.

my suspicion is that idiots were complaining the ai was stupid because combat was easy (in a power fantasy), so things died before they could see the Ai respond. If you play this game like a stealthgame the ai is great. And if you give them time, they will hit you with grenades and flank you. But V is supposed to be an over tuned monster. So they increased the time to kill on enemies by weakening V and making some enemies tanky so we get more of a chance to see enemies react, an illusion of difficulty, at the expense of gameplay.

in the previous upgrade system most of the weapon damage and headshot buffs to make guns great were available at attribute level 9-12. it was pretty easy to make any weapon type good, and have Berserk's attack and defense buffs if you needed more. Cyberware also reached a point of diminishing return beyond 12. sure they were stronger options but not that much stronger. You could start the game with an attribute at level 5 and get it to 12 and be set for the rest of the game pretty quick and use the rest of your points for experiementing.

No wonder they didn't shoot back at Johnny, can't see shit with all this fog.

The entire rooftop in Konpeki gets a full whiteout after the heist for sone reason. It's only barely visible afternthe heist in the dead of night (probably duringntje heist too since under normal circumstances it's only ever done at night). If you're doing the Konpeki heist then something must've broke the weather/time of the gig and you're just seeing it the way it is before and after. If you're just up there messing around before or after the gig, you're just seeing it the way it always is

Yeah shits still completely impossible to see with all this fog despite a weather reset. Going to fix this another day some random fucker touched the mission files and it isn't my weather mod for some reason. GPU is also spikeing like crazy on this mission for no good reason when I ran it on release fine with a fucking 980+i5. Fog is completely unaffacted by the volumetric fog setting and I barely raised my settings since last time I played the mission a week ago, could be the some other setting but I don't feel like debuging so my save will be on hiatus, ty for reading my blog.
