drop rates are pure rng like rolling a dice theres no variables to account for thats why they can gather rate data like that. your kc rate for a boss depends on too many factors like your gear, skill level, experience level, retardation level, potions, luck wrt getting hit, etc etc so everyones rate would vary wildly and the end result would be completely useless. which is why they just give you the rate with bis and maximum concentration and you can scale that according to your own situation

the difficulty of inferno has been brought up many times during round tables and the general consensus is that the majority of legitimate capers would be satisfied if inferno was significantly overhauled to increase first cape rates by even 100% (which admittedly isn't that much) so you can expect to see changes made at some point in the future. can't say much else in that regard.

That all said, the obvious route to learning more in a situation like this is the word of mouth approach. Like another anon said, open source projects are numerous on this game, so poke around a while and you’ll find other projects, forum posts, user groups, etc. and you will eventually find reference to or contact with people who at least use bots, where they get them from, which can lead you to who develops them, which can lead you to places where they discuss their work. No guarantees and always risks, but that’s life. Being a straight white male presumably in a developed country, you’re better off getting into anything else with this kind of effort and entrepreneurial interest of course, only do this if you’re autistic and live on the game.
