Hoyo gives free band aid units every once in a while that can easily help you in the end game (not full stars though) until you build 2 strong teams. Up until "recently" people were clearing the endgame with just Huntmarch and Moze in the team + Asta and one limited sustain. Clearing full stars every 40 days is a very small difference in jades overall. Its unironically better to buy a pass and get a ton of extra jades for just fucking around.
