Maybe im wasting my time, but i do still need to know:

As i mentioned already, i just bought a new Sandisk MSD for my switch (Sandisk Extreme 512), now it works ok and the games i installed so far work ok and all.
But i still want to use my switch for emulation, and i know Retroarch in switch doesnt emulate all the systems it can handle, and even tho i can add games to the virtual console apps, its still pretty limited. So i have to make a partition, be it for Lakka or a Linux Distro.

My doubt here is, if it is safe to set up the partition in Hekate after having installed a few games. Or what can be done here?, because i dont want to lose 60dls in yet another dead MSD just like that.

Not one I could find. What I did was:
>Back up the emummc and the nand which can be done in Hekkate
>It's a good idea to also just backup all the files in your SD card
>(In my case the Hekkate backup didn't work so I had to use NXNandManager)
>Use Partition Wizard to allocate space for the ext4 partition
>Since it's most likely you used the Fat32 partition to allocate space there's now a "gap" between it and the Emummc partition (I forgot its actual name)
>Move the Emummc partition right next to the fat32 one so the empty space is at the "end" of the SD card.
>If you can't move the Emummc partition just clone/copy it and put it next to the fat32 one and delete the one that sits at the end.

I should mention that it could mess up your clock since Linux uses a different system for it and I haven't found I way to stop it from doing it so I have to set the clock manually each time I play on my emunand.

Using Hekate's partition manager will nuke everything so don't do it without backups.
According to the guide for changing SD cards you can simply move the contents from one SD to the new one if you don't have an emu, so just make a backup of your entire SD card somewhere (atmos/hekate folders, Nintendo folder, saves, homebrew, etc). Then redo your SD setup with Hekate's partition maker. Once you reinstall everything again with the partition on your SD for Linux/Android, move everything back over from your backup to the SD card. In case anything breaks just reinstall games with DBI and import saves again with JKSV.

Anon with a 6.02 PS4 here, i updated it to 6.72 and i'm loading goldhen through a website. Not sure if it's my controller shitting the bed (i destroyed a rumble motor while cleaning it, so i might have damaged it in some other way) or the hack being unreliable, but sometimes my controller doesn't work at all once i launch a game, so i have to do a reset try again until it works.

The HDD is also in incredibly poor condition, sometimes it'll lock up moments after installing a game, forcing me to do a hard reset. Unfortunately the SSD i ordered for it won't be here until next week because amazon is shitty like that, so i'll have to deal with that.

Are there any games i can play here that don't work on shadPS4? I have already played bloodborne to completion twice and i'm in the middle of a driveclub playthrough (not sure if this game has an end, but i've put a good 30 hours in it).

More progress on my Sonic homebrew for Game Boy Color. It actually works exactly as well on hardware. I just need to think of a more interesting level transition, or actually make the technology to swap and unload level chunks on the fly in order to make really large maps.

Anons, I need help. I got a new SD because my previous one died, but I want to reinstall Blaster Master Zero trilogy. Thankfully I never deleted it from before NSW2U died, but I can't install it anymore. It's an XCI format, I can force it to install with DBI but the end result is corrupted, Tinfoil hangs up and awoo refuses to install it. I redownloaded it from another site, but I can't, for the life of mine, install this version. Everything should be up to date as I ended up doing the whole process from scratch. I got also the DLC from the rutracker forum alternatively, but nothing lets me install it and if I force install it with DBI it just corrupts the games.

Please help me if you can, I do feel the voice acting improves the games.

BTW I recently had something similar happen to me with Smash when I deleted it. I still had the files and after trying all possible ways I could think of to reinstall the game, I ended up nuking my SD and remaking my emunand from scratch, which worked. I did try a new download but the old one worked fine too as it was my setup.
Speaking of downloads, I couldn't find the trilogy, only the separate games. Would you mind uploading it somewhere to grab it?

I installed the XCI and noticed it's the same as installing the separate NSPs for the three games + updates. These are the ones I mentioned I found but it turns out it's the same. I got these and the DLCs on the nswtl.info telegram bot, installed the DLCs on top of the XCI using DBI from the HATS package (it's in English and a later version the the latest English one available on the dev's github), and they're running just fine, voices and everything.

I tried hekate and fusee, i got the latest 20.3.0 sigpatches, I followed the final guide that worked on the OP. Is there anything else I should be aware of? I'm genuinely confused at what I might be doing wrong.

Since you have it, you might as well check out a few usefull stuff.
Sys-clk so games run better, I'd recommend the second or third-to-last frequencies for GPU and CPU so it doesn't run hotter than it needs to. (mind you they're all safe frequencies, you're not actually overclocking, but I've found games run without stutter without cranking it to the max)
If you're into it, Edizon for cheats.
Also you have Mission Control so you can hook up any controller from old gens up to the PS4, including the new dualsense for PS5, but not including the new Xbox Series controllers.

I also live in a hot area (MX desert) and the switch runs fine. The console itself can reach up to 80C/176F with no problems, it's above that when things may start to deteriorate. With the second-to-last setting, my CPU hovers around 75-80C with the fan on.
The CPU runs always at the lowest setting you can see in Sys-clk, and there's like 10 settings, so you could still probably increase it one or two steps for a noticeable boost in performance without heating it up too much.

There's multiple tools to stream from your PC to the Switch like SkyNX, Switch Remote Play and Moonlight, but I've never used them so I don't know if they stream the game directly or you can view your PC's screen. If it's just a game/process, you could probably stream an app like Netflix. If you have the media files, then just copy them to your SD card and use NXMP to open them.

How in the ever living fuck do you play oh Xbox games with bad update? I'm using the unshackle one too which is supposed to let og Xbox games run. I have the iso, I extracted it like normal

how does multi disc games in OPL on PS2? Was thinking of trying out Xenosaga and Shadow Hearts, are the disc swaps set up in a way where I can save before the swap then just load up the next disc in OPL and load the save?
