thats not how it works you retard. attachements only handle the actual recoil values of ur gun kicking "against" the screen, there is nothing in the game that affects bullet spread and bloom. Even if ur prone, firing full auto even with an smg will result in most of ur bullets going around ur crosshair. Watch jackfrags play the game, he has good aim and spray transfer but the bullet spread still fucks him over. Riley's guns are literally lacking bullet spread entirely.

i started with Codename Eagle
Vietnam was a downgrade from 1942, although helicopters and vehicle radio were fun as hell the maps weren't very good and had lots of foliage which mostly served to fuck with visibility everywhere rather than add well-defined strategic or tactical opportunities
BF2 simply wasn't as good as 1942, 1942's air-ground game was much more balanced because of the lower tech level of the setting and 2 suffered immensely from never being able to nail down that balance
2142 was another 2 with neat ideas
BC/2 introduced Rush which is pure kino, and (1 aside, which is relatively the 3 to bc2's 4) while it's fairly infantry-focused it didn't take away from the combined-arms balance and had peak destruction and great class balance and movement and gunplay
BF1943 is Wake Island Demo 2.0, simple as
BF3 has extremely shit maps and mid implementations of new mechanics, and the best map (Kharg Island) got no love and never showed up in BF4
BF4 improved 3's mechanics and had some better maps, but they're almost universally flat, and the 3/4/HL movement model is just kind of slippery garbage compared to the 1942/vietnam/2/bc2/bf1 lineage's model, and the gunplay similarly feels weightless and laser-y in comparison, it's just fundamentally not as good and that's just the way it is
Hardline is way too infantry focused and small-scale for me, but it's been a long time and i'd love to give it a second chance but i can't because it's fucking dead (inshallah 6's low quality will give every old BF a resurgence)
BF1 is BC3
BFV refined 3/4/HL's core mechanics, added fortifications, vastly improved the movement model with prone rolling etc plus better gunplay, and half the strategic-conquest maps are some of the best in the series, so on that good half it's an S tier game

Remember to tap fire because of the weird way recoil and spread works in that game. You get spread even when ADS, and if you just hold the trigger even if you stay on target the bullets can miss. The gun handling is the biggest mechanical difference between 4 and 6. Nah I suck ass. High level flick aim masters do exist. I'm not saying they don't. Know how this shit works and how these cheat dev organizations think is part of my business. I'm not saying riley is 100% cheating. But there's been enough sus occasions that it raises eyebrows. And the only way to prove it is to have this person get third party audited. If they give you the tools to make it hard to spot, they make a lot of money. Its in their best interest to do so. That's why I said they have purposefully been developed to make it look like high level players. Because of this exact reason. See pic. That radius you see around the screen? That's the snap radius. You can configure it so that the radius is different sizes and when a target is inside of that radius, then it will snap to that target. You can also configure it so that the snap only activates on a keyboard press. For example, binding it to the same key as the fire button. So even if you get "decently" good at a flick, you can combine all this to make it look like you're on the same level as a pro gamer even if you're not.

But there are occasional bugs. Which is what the tip offs are. Sometimes since its binded to the fire key and you fire for "too long" after the target dies, you get the "crazy flicks". Flicks towards people behind walls, rocks. 180 flicks. Things like that. And sadly that's really the ONLY way outside observers can question it. Which is where the drama comes in because riley has been clipped doing exactly that.

For sure. There's a lot you can do with the trigger conditions. And it makes sense when you consider the people who are using it. There's some people who are trying to (or already have) made a career at being good at video games. If they can't keep that up, they lose their livelihood. So many of them view it as they don't have a choice. If they don't cheat, then they can't upkeep their playerbase since they're bad. Which means they lose their profession. If they do cheat, they get to keep doing what they're doing until they get caught, then they lose their profession.

I remember this one case I was looking into where the person said they only cheat when losing by activating it via keybind. And its like...???? How does it make it better. Lose with grace you dimwit. Once they start winning, then they disable it.

You're not missing much. A lot of the "Road to BF6" stuff is for 2042 only. There's about 10-15 BF6-importing skins/models included, the rest are player cards and titles (nice throwbacks, there is a "DICE PLZ" one) for 2042's playercard system and some weapon charms, you're not missing anything if you skip it.

Weekly objectives help grind the "pips" for the pass level up quickly (4-5-6, then 10 that is that week only, there is 10 pips per level), but you can just bot farm "PvP AI" for a slightly slower (forgetting the EXP hit to get a "pip" for the pass) rate.

"Moderate XP" is where they cap you IIRC. But the new "PvP AI" in Portal is full EXP, but you're weapon unlock/mastery limited to like T3-level 12, so you can't T1 a weapon with just bots.

So is grinding challenges fun or not?

Even outside of Bazaar the amount of defenders meant you could maybe take 2-3 sets before the final two finally exhausted the ticket amount (if modded). Why do you think these dogshit 64-modded Rush servers have 1500 ticket for attackers? Because the amount of players BURN THROUGH THE NORMAL AMOUNT within 5 mins.

All the player count whiners should just play Conquest if they want 64-128 players. KotH, Rush, TDM, et. al. are not inteded for big player counts or they would have maps designed for those amounts and say they were designed for those counts.
