New dungeons have DPS sponge trash enemies everywhere and weird randomly damage spiking bosses, so it's fucking dull, also it's probably less exp/hr than solo questing by a significant margin. The redesigned stuff inside them is interesting I guess, but not impactful in any way. If the rest of the dungeons/raids are like this, it'll be shit.

Most of the new quests and stuff which were added are just fluff filler type quests which aren't necessarily bad, they just make it slightly less tedious. Some of it has a slightly jank custom server feel to it which is jarring, but the majority of it fits in ok.

Class balance as far as I can see is mirroring TBC pretty strongly, which makes sense. I don't know how I feel about that, could be good or bad.

The whole thing just kind of seems like it's one or two shut in autists imagined version of what wow should've been rather than a full or well thought out redesign. So it's ok for a visit but several orders of magnitude overhyped.

Did deadmines. It was a lot of fun and the custom content was actually quite enjoyable.
Not really sure how 'worth' it is. The loot was definitely not good enough to justify the increased difficulty. Most bosses dropped dog shit greens and the exp wasn't crazy. Would be nice if they at least revamped the greens into slightly better blues to compensate for the extra difficulty and time it takes.
Had a pretty good group with no wipes and it still took a very hefty chunk of time.

Nothing completely crazy but compared to the original DM it was a step up.

The ogre boss and and sneed (out of shredder) hit like fucking trucks and were unironically the closest calls for us.
Smite shits fire all over the floor and still does his AOE stun and no healer is very good at aoe damage this early so he could be a bit sketchy.
Everything else including VC was basically tank and spank. VC has a fan of knives he uses that does a bit of aoe and still has his adds.
Some jank aggro mobs/rooms as well that caused many close calls.

Mostly everything just had an unnecessarily high amount of health bloat for no real reason, which gives healers and casters the ability to OOM and you would just lose via attrition much more easily. My group was 19-21 and it was pretty smooth, but a group with 16-17s would be prone to getting assfucked. A few extra talent points isn't notably offsetting every boss having almost twice the health they normally do (on top of the added mechanics)

Yes. Rogue and Warlock also had a tank spec. Shaman was the squishiest of the new tanks but it's dps was insane for a tank. Rogue was really squishy too until you got to AQ/Naxx gear then it had so much avoidance it was bonkers. Warlock was just solid all the way through.

Cata dungeons were notoriously punishing and warrior has always been tricky for aoe threat, well. Up until MoP. If you want an easier time tanking try bear or prot paladin. Bear is easy straight away, prot paladin is easy at 20 when you got consecration.
