I'm just re-picking up the game in preparation to the ranked mode patch after not playing since 2023.
The guy I played against had 5800 celestial wins (2k of those on Millia alone).
I think losing neutral against a super fast char of all things is the smallest setback, being able to somehow block this char's mix-ups and take rounds when they're doing moves I didn't even know existed is a huge ego boost.

Baiken has a parry and guard cancel by inputting said parry while blocking which allows you to now be on offense if they hit the guard cancel version. Also not a command grab but a grab that attaches a rope to the enemy and allows new kinds of combos and pressure as it automatically pulls the enemy right back if they get far enough.

For me, YRC on Guard Crush moves seems absolutely huge for any of the most annoying chars like Goldlewis or Pot.

It's both good and bad, now your low health char won't explode as easily just from blocking like 2 moves, but you take like double damage even from a throw at high risc if you let it build up.
Overall full combo damage will go down but small pokes and stuff will go up, which sounds scary for getting hit by a tap Dust.
On the other hand, now killing high HP chars may be even harder, which is why they changed the defense on all the high health chars like Pot.

Yeah this patch is quite a mixed bag. A lot of characters overall got better and some of the real problem characters got nerfed like Ram and Johnny. Some of the changes seem really questionable. For one, why did Happy Chaos get effectively untouched? They nerf his neutral buttons, but keep his pressure and actual bullshit untouched. Hell, they may have made it even better with the scapegoat change. The only reason Happy Chaos' neutral was so bullshit in the first place was because he could convert it like a manic every single time and get his resource back on top of it. He's been top 1-5 for the entire time he's been in the game and he still managed to get away with it. Some characters got nerfed really bad while he managed to get off as easy as he did. I get why Ram and Johnny got the nerfs they did, but Elphelt and Sin look like they've been really fucking hit bad by these changes. They're both annoying as shit and have some real bullshit, but this shit is almost ridiculous the way they've been gutted. They must really also value the Super PRC change a lot seeing as they didn't really nerf too much about Pot too. I just hope they didn't create even worse demons this patch with some of these buffs. Venom changes are so massive that I can't really imagine how he'll be when the patch drops. Same with Dizzy

I personally think he's one of, in not the most nerfed character of the patch. The notes we have for just him sounds pretty dire as is. Elk Hunt not being able to convert as a starter is a pretty decent nerf itself, but it is reasonable as it was quite strong. hoof stomp being unable to convert midscreen is pretty significant too. And if the tumble nerf to beak driver means he can't convert with c.S after, then he is more than likely the worst character in the game due to being completely dysfunctional. The new system changes are a pretty big deal as well. YRC being the way it is now hurts him in both ways. YRC will work great against Sin now since you can let him use his stamina and now YRC him even on guard crush. This means he's gotta play neutral with 1 or no stamina on deck which is very undesirable for him. If he's playing against a character like Chaos who wins neutral significantly and Sin YRC's his offense, now Sin can't even go on offense since they can just back off and play neutral. It all honestly comes down to the beak driver change. If he can still convert from it with c.S and lead into a wallbreak using only 2 stamina, then he might still be "usable", but if not, then he is probably completely dead. But these changes overall are extremely brutal for him for reasons that go beyond face value
