HP buff is also bad on Mydei since it makes it harder for him to get stacks the more HP he has.

Yes which is why Phainon scales so well, he has pretty much every way to get damage in besides strict AOE.
Bounce is better in single target and he has a counter that AAs.
The only way to cuck him is with enemies who summon mobs that gives themselves shields that absorb all damage.
But even then like with argenti he can just counter to take the shield out and then meteor.
The problem is Phainon always has a way to get his damage through whether with brute force damage or because he has multiple avenues to deal damage in single and multi-target.

His real only bad scenario would be an AOE boss whose mobs don't count for his counter but eat his bounces.
