He has that new debuff that Pochi has, idk what they'll call it in English but it increases the enemy's speed and forces them to do nothing but basic attacks and changes their targeting so they go after him iirc.
Nice thing about his counter is it goes on the enemy he inflicted his Challenge/Duel thing on, so even if they're sitting behind two rows of enemies in a chokepoint, the mooks in front attacking him will trigger his counter on the challenged foe instead of the mooks.

After playing around with it more I can confirm this is indeed fun. We'll see if my strat works for stage 7 now that I have a better idea on how I want to handle it. Fun fact for you: if you knock the slimes off the stage through the endpoint you don't wipe. So if you were to do something like charge one near the finish line with team meteor and shoot it 13 tiles out of bounds, you can pretend you bonked them around the fucking world.

He's basically Tristan 2.0 but with Kvare's 6x6 AoE. He has 2-3 turns of transformation state where he rapes everything and is invincible, then he becomes useless. He also has Make it Rain 2.0 but it costs 4 NRG so its quite a bit worse. He's pretty good but I think most people recommend skipping him because the characters surrounding him are even better.

Though I wouldn't be surprised that the reason Luccians are all tribes that turn into different animals ends up being related to the fact that Mt Vlder is what's in between Iria and Luccia. So, a few weeks back, I caved and went for some of the discount packs, not expecting to get anything. Instead, I got Edda and Momo. Pretty good, but I was hoping to be mostly free-to-play with my rolls. Also accidently pulled on a Rico's weapon banner when trying to pull for Rico. Never again, that crap is atrocious. Weapon trials give out so much better.

Speaking of Rico, I managed to scrape together 10 pulls, and was wondering. Should I try and one more time to pull for her? I was hoping to pull for the collab characters, but I heard they were easier to get. Is that true?

Not really, weapon trials can't give out any Astral gear or legendary trinkets and the banner has no distinction between the common and rare gear drops. The only issue is of how much you're willing to risk a character pity on pulling for gear but the banner itself is objectively better than WT

the real point of the weapon banner is the signature weapon and everything else is failure filler, but the signature weapon is almost never worth using with only one copy, and even at 5* it's not so rare for the signature weapon to be worse on other characters, or barely better than the best weapon trial weapons even on the tailored character

In a situation where you really want a sig and naturally for it to be 5* but you know that it will be packed with 2 weapons you don't give a single shit about then the banner might actually be your best bet. I'd prioritise saving astral shards over hope luxites for that.
