it's a passive, when you take damage a portion of it isn't taken instantly and instead you take it over the next few seconds
let's say for example that coco grandma hits you with a 1000 damage charged shot and you have 40% bloodletting (idk what was the exact number rn it changes every other patch), you'll take first 600 damage then 400 more damage over 6 seconds
now what the active does is clear a % of that delayed damage, so for example you clear 50% of the previous damage (let's say you took 100/400 of it already) you'd clear 50% of the 300 damage left so you'd only take 150 more

deadlock has some of the highest strategic potential of any modern competitive game, and it's entirely squandered on a playerbase of marvel rivals retards who only comprehend might makes right, which is only marginally more insufferable than the mediocre MOBA veterans who think a game is won soley through raw farming and low-risk assassination kills

This game is so unbelievably engaging when you have 4+ highly coordinated adaptable players who watch eachother, offset map pressure and capitalize off narrow opportunities, and this experience will never be had by a vast majority of the playerbase because nothing else on the market has even remotely conditioned gamers to abstract problem solving in a group setting to this degree, and the social skills needed to do something as simple as forgive your teammate when they make a mistake is entirely absent in the average socially malnourished 20 year old crashout.

It is insane how the better you get at this game, the more the mental divide widens to insufferable levels of dissonance. After long enough, you realize that higher rank players aren't actually any better at passive wave management or capitalizing on advantage. They literally just happen to actually listen to and respond quickly to the one guy on their team who mentally tracks everything and calls out what shit needs to get done. The better you get at deadlock, the more you realize that being good at deadlock is actually just doing sextuple the mental calculations to make up for your 5 shitsmearing overwatch teammates who are savantly good at securing kills but will default into jungle idling if you don't highlight them and instruct them to go convert objectives. Deadlock is, in a way, more of an RTS than a MOBA, if you consider your teammates NPCs who are incapable of identifying and performing basic chores unless instructed to by you first. Pattern recognition is maybe the most rare skill across all deadlock players, and a vast majority are oblivious to it

I see all enemies disappear, because I know they're going mid 11 seconds before the midboss screams. My teammates farm outer lane jungles, because they don't know midboss is about to scream. Midboss screams. I could split-push a lane and break a walker during midboss, because I counted enemy numbers and calculated that all of them are in mid, but I don't do it because I don't care anymore. The enemy gets rejuv. I stand in base on highground and I take my hands off my keyboard, because that's what deadlock gameplay is. If you leave your base during rejuv, you get dogpiled by 4+ heroes. One of my teammates leave base during respawn, because they don't know and I don't tell them because I don't care. Another teammate goes out to try and help him. He dies too. I die, because I no longer care, and then I dc from the server while patron drops.

I reinstalled Deadcock to check out the new update, and I don't know when it happened but the game has developed an unusual frame-pacing issue at / near 60 fps since the last time I played months ago.
My monitors insist that the game's framerate and frametime values are as expected and stable, but there's a very odd stutter going on, very noticeable in motion, and very consistently timed once every second which suggests a frame-pacing issue. But unusually it occurs both at and near 60 FPS. Usually for frame-pacing issues the problem will only occur when you lock to something like 60 specifically, which is why I typically lock games to 61 or 62 FPS as that usually sidesteps any frame-pacing issues.
But Deadlock for some reason still has this frame-pacing issue even at 61/62 FPS, and for some reason only framerates above 65 or so will make the stuttering disappear, which is unusual.

Well it's a fresh install, and I've cleared the shader cache a bunch of times since the last time I played, so I don't think it would be shader related.

From my perspective both DOTA and LoL lore are trash, and always subject to be rewritten in spinoff media. What the DOTA team did have was cool environment art, which made me really like The Secret Shop VR demo in The Lab. Some of the character designs are good, but most feel template AND unappealing at the same time.

I think some people go "LoL is cute anime girl bait" but if you look at their art since launch, they were accommodating a wider variety of tastes than DOTA 2 ever did, including but not limited to cute anime grill. Although now LoL is very template in their designs because they know what sells :(

So how is Mina build wise? From checking other builds I see K dash being used in almost every build or stamina mastery, then its mostly spirit with some green items so you get out limping out of the fight if you didnt use correctly your dashes rather than dead.
