It's basically a monument to the paid in experience barely being that difference that what somebody who didn't buy the DLC can experience. Sit it right next to how ridiculous it is that Transmog is so restrictive. The second people realized how you could fly with the power grind just mindlessly doing a free activity, all the air was let out. Don't get me wrong obviously a raid, suite of planet weapons and some other odds and ends tend to get a restriction, but it's crazy how extra pointless it all feels with how little goes on in the game. They really hung their hat on calling Matterspark like it was a subclass defining level thing, or "dungeon like puzzle" which translated to you'll be shooting this boss for 100 hours as it throws immune shields again and again. If there was any clear indicator Bungie truly is checked out of this shit, are relying heavily on approved content creator pitch men to oversell everything, this is it.

Most PVP builds boil down to focus on Health, Super, whatever stats help the build your focusing, and that's about it. Weapons can help some shit TTKs but it's often not worth. 9 times outta 10 you're better off having more health to survive a fight than having a fraction of a second faster ttk that literally you could be fucked over by this game's networking build on dental floss and chewing gum. I'm almost certain you can fuck over people's connections if you have enough people just spamming Bakris hunter stuff where the game just doesn't render the movement all correctly and your radar is on a near delay, stuff doesn't render right. I had a team where everybody was doing it and just the game was stuttering so bad and it wasn't mechanical issues on my end .

Thats not 100% true. Strand titan was a CC king with suspend builds which made titans happy. Then they gutted it and made the optimal strand titan build unga bunga melee.
