Atypical evolutions were fucking retarded in Next Order, it's one of the few things that really pissed me off when playing it. If it's pre-Dojo upgrades you can get stuck evolving into OmegaShitemon or Arrestedevelopmentmon who are both premature dead-ends that can't evolve into anything. If you don't have any evolution items for them you're pretty much stuck sitting on your hands, or if you're a degenerate stuck shitting on the floor until they evolve into Scumon (I assume this would work, never actually tried it).

It's weirder when you use the actual level names, a child that's not a child but an adult. The level names being linked to natural growth and ascension is pretty interesting when you think about it.
