But...is that even why CG fans want? For a branch, it's never really been about Commus or stories. Honestly, I'd say it's the most built upon fanon and headcanons than what the Commus actually say.

Then is it about the music? I don't think so. The solos, the group songs, have always been a means to an end. They were nice to have but they were never the main focus of what CG fans cared about the most.

It was always about popularity. What CGfans I've seen care the most about is their idol being popular, whether voiced or unvoiced. Solos and group songs have always been used, not because there's an interesting idea for a song, but to reward those who "earned" it. I don't think any CG fan cares about their idol getting more story unless they were ranked highly for it. To this day, there's still a class divide of those with voices and those without.

I'm not saying the SideM way won't work. It probably could work just fine, but I feel like CGPs care less about the melodramatic stories of their idols than SideMPs so they need to do more than that to keep it alive.
