Surly there's a way to emulate spotpass or something now right? I want to get the dead or alive 3ds spotpass outfits but the one method I see online to do this (using checkpoint and backing up the exdata) doesnt work for me because it doesnt show up in checkpoint at all for some reason. Maybe its because I only just now started playing so never played it when spotpass was still alive?
But surly there must be a way to just make your home wifi a spotpass spot or something and just send the data that way or use a save file that has all the outfits or something.

So I downloaded XDXMulleter in hopes that I could open a Xbox game .ISO. Doesn't allow me to extract the ISO.
I've read a fix for Gauntlet Dark Legacy is to remove the movies in the MOVIE folder of an extracted Xbox ISO or XISO version of this game.
I just want to convert the extracted content (disc?) into XISO.

Tried it last night. No more flickering around the boarder of the gameplay.
When you're in a world it's 100% perfect. When you first spawn in the tower (which I remember even legit copies running this way), it drops to a playable but horrible 15 fps.

The cool thing about the Xbox 360 is how it's just a perfect console for gaming not just with it's library but even multiplats are fun. The PS3 was fun and it had some gems but multiplats were such a horrible experience that it's why PC was better for multiplats. hi anons, I have an old vita and an old 3ds I had modded years ago and I dug them up while moving houses. After letting them charge for some time I noticed that they take a really long time to boot, and the vita specifically often gets stuck on the henkaku splash screen on boot and never fully launches.
What could be the issue here? are the sd cards dying? I haven't used them much since installing them due to life getting in the way, but maybe they go bad if left unpowered for a long time?

I was hoping to get some kind of help regarding this issue i've run into recently. I just got a Wii U and modded it along with the VWii. Everything so far has gone smooth except with Nintendont. I have an external hard drive that I use with a y splitter cable, and previously used it on my original Wii. Worked perfectly fine for both Wii and GC games. It's formatted properly and all the files are labeled correctly. And even now with USB Loader GX it loads Wii games fine.

However, when using v6.503 of Nintendont I constantly get the "USB fat device could not be opened" error when booting from both the HBC itself and the fowarder. And when booting games in USB Loader it says it's unable to open disk image files.

I still have my old Wii sd card so I decided to try loading up my version on there, which is 4.445 or something. And surprisingly, I got different results.

When loading from USB Loader I get the "Check for multi game and region failed" error. When loading from the fowarder I get the same "USB fat device could not be opened" error from before. But when loading it from HBC itself all of the games show up and even load!

I'm completely confused by this, and any help would be appreciated. As I would like to be able to just load all the games from USB Loader.

Anyone had issues with Rock Band blitz demo not showing up? I've had it installed since 1.2 came out and today it's magically not showing up. The external drive is working because it can see the profile on the external and when I go to storage it shows the external and all the "Games on Demand" format games. If you have an SD reader, the fastest way to install games is to download the .cia on PC, plug the SD into the PC and use custom-install to install the game directly onto it.

Hey anons, I finally got around to booting my wii u to see if it had the defective NAND that died if you don't boot it, and well, it booted. However, I have no idea what version of CFW or anything it was running. Looking at the SD card, I am running homebrew launcher 1.2, and I have two apps called loadiine, which appears to have been for my attempts to run an uncensored version of FE fates, beyond that, I don't have much in the way of clues, it certainly didn't boot into something automatically, but I don't have a wifi network I can connect it to at this time to try a browser exploit to see what that launches, so, if there is anything obvious I can check to see what I'm running I would be all ears.

Is there a way to install a bunch of CIAs on a folder in the home menu of a 3ds?

I just used JKSV, made a backup of BCAT for Smash Ultimate, replaced everything in that folder with the one I downloaded from there then went back into JKSV and restored the BCAT backup. How hard is it to hack a Wii nowadays? My Wii is beyond repair so I wanted to buy a new one. But last time I hacked anything it was a 3DS and it was super long, took me hours, we had to downgrade it to a 2.1.0 version that the screen started malfunctioning and if I closed it it'd perma-brick it.

When BadUpdate got the BBB method most were pissed off at anyone using it over RGH since they realized their days of selling RGH consoles was coming to an end. 2.0 basically obliterated it and now their getting downvoted since most people joining the sub are using BadUpdate. While not a game/app per se, overclocking is quite literally a gamechanger. Even a modest overclock really helps a lot of games, some titles can be played at 60 fps instead of native 30fps lock, which is also nice.
Other anon mentioned moonlight and other niche stuff already, beyond that I don't think there's anything mindblowing to be had. At the end of the day it's a pretty low performance device with a not-great 720p screen, for most of the stuff it can do, there's other devices that can do it better.

N64 and GC are sort of outliers, kind of, because Sony hit gold with the PS1 and PS2, but I think that generally it also matches when Nintendo is being cocky vs having to actually pull off something good to not die in a ditch. From how the S2 has gone so far, I'd say that they're getting to the cocky phase again.
It wouldn't be the first time, either. WiiU was actually selling out at the start because of all the fanboys rushing to get them, and then it flopped. Sure, S2 is different because they sold a gorillion consoles on release, but with the game prices they're asking for (and how shit their "sales" are), it might end up flopping down the line because people will be a lot more picky about what to buy.

No actually I moved from 18.1.0 to 20.2.0 when I redid my setup and it's noticeable. I take my switch out in the evenings and it used to come back late at night at 70-80% if I didn't use it. I could forget to re-dock it and would still have charge in the morning. Now with 20.2.0 it comes back at around 20% with no use and if I don't put it in the dock it's dead by morning.
