Uhhh they both have their uses. The real answer is both, and then use the right one at the right time, but ignoring that I guess there are some differences.
Aside from the obvious “match them with the element they go with”, Mona is unique in offering a revive with his Highlight - that is valuable. He also gets to attack while healing (which can give windswept to foes or knockdown with his increased crit chance), whereas Lufel has to use his turns to heal directly instead.
Lufel on the other hand gives a little attack boost to people, which is nice but not game-changing, and you’re likely to get his awareness maxed at some point in the nearish future just from dud rolls, unlike Mona’s which can take some time.

If you’re running Ann, it’s a no-brainer to use Lufel (and Key) to stack fire damage boosts. But Mona is probably easier to just slot into any team.

Lufel can full heal the party with minor investment, stacks with Ann/fire teams, and gives passive attack buffs and burns.
Morgana needs to be fairly built (crit, attack, +healing) to heal effectively, inflicts windswept, and can revive.
Morgana will be better long term when good wind damagers & ones that keys off windswept wre released. As is the wind rapier guy is decidedly mid and not worth building both himself and Morgana just to use him.

You only need nightmare +25, everything else is enough at hard mode. You need strong ST for this. If you kill the right enemies, you can get rid of the permanent power increase and resistance swap. It's the way to go.
Also curse/burn work wonders here. Boss' aren't immune to % damage.

I think given this game's pull structure, depending where you're at on a current pity, split it up.
When you push on that first 50/50 and it fails, choose then between your current target and next target if you can't guarantee both. Will you be more satisfied using that guarantee on the current, even if you fail the 50/50 again and miss the next?

In Genshin, that was how it went with Eula. I'd throw the 50/50, fail, but upcoming targets had higher priority and my stash could not afford to go from scratch, So I missed Eula on 2 runs before the 3rd one where I had enough and no incoming considerations.

I'm thinking Leon is the way to go. Friendship stacks, plus his 3* boosts ally's attack by 18.1% when they're shielded.

Leo is only worth it for Ryuji or if you lack Nuke options, and MAYBE for the wind 4* but that's stretching it. Moko is generally worthless right now, outside of requiring psy.

Fire uses Key. Ice uses Yuki (or another sustain if you don't use Yusuke) + Rin, Thunder uses Motoha, Curse uses Rin, Nuke uses Granny. You generally always need a dedicated sustain, so using one additional support on top isn't really working, as Wonder isn't good enough to solo sustain anything.


If you really need SOMETHING, looking at Moko's kit, it should be better with max dupes.
