I think I was too hard on my analysis of this card. It’s worse than Merman for 5 cost but playing her turn 5 she offers a lot. You can clear 2 followers with her attack and passive then you get a 0 cost 1 damage aoe. Afterwards dealing with odd numbered HP enemies is significantly easier. Now the big problem is you never want to play her again so that’s where her enhance comes in handy for easy storm damage. Even if she’s worse than Odin in that regard and has negative synergy with Ho-chan I think this card is actually surprisingly powerful. Most likely you will want to add 2 copies to your deck.

Okay, so you need crests to board lock your opponent. Grimnir and Marwynn are some good sources for early crests. But if you have Grimnir and Marwynn's crests, then you can't board lock because they clear the opponent's followers.

And you can't use this to clear the board and then have Marwynn's crest hit face either because the banish happens at the end of the opponent's turn.

I'm astonished at how badly the two Haven legendaries work together.

Haventards going through exactly the same thing they went through last expansion where they swear they have a meta deck. But it turns out that it just beats offmeta decks that are designed to beat rune and ends up being a buff to rune because the haven deck still gets dumpstered by rune.

Going first as Dragon is a problem in general.
All the 2 drop have 2/2 stats or lower so nothing sticks on Turn 3 when you ramp.
Fishman is good enough for Turn 4 but without evo he won't stick either.
Turn 5 there's no good 6 drop so either you drew another Fishman or you're just stuck playing multiple lower drops, which means you're losing the resource war.
Turn 6 you have 7PP but no sevo so you can't make use of Olivia Nep or Burnite effect.

This whole "you can't play the deck because Rune" bullshit is dumb as fuck. Most of the ladder is Sword and Abyss so you're not always against Rune and even back near the start of SV1, control decks STILL lost to DClimb and Roach almost every time, it wasn't until CBlood got Mask of the Black Death and CSword got Roland that those weren't instant loss matchups. CBlood's strategy to was literally play no minions to deny Rune spellboosts and then play late game bombs and hope you can win before they get DShift down. Against Roach you just ate shit.

CBlood kept down every single aggro deck in the same way. They had more HP than Rune currently does because you had to leave them at 11 HP and kill them in a single turn but even leaving them at 11HP could let them activate Vengeance and heal for 10 while clearing your board so you'd have people leave them at 13HP instead and then once Blood Moon was printed aggro just lost because t3 blood moon into t4 Righteous Devil was checkmate(2/5 bane/drain, evo into a 4/7). The matchups are less polarizing then they used to be and every archetype still saw play back then.
