How do you manage fucking dogshit cardstock curling?

It is most prominent for Ultra Rares and Super Rares... also Ultimate Rares from Rarity collection which is a shame.
Like something about that type of foiling makes them so prone to warping it's unreal.
I'm not even sure I've the stomach to order Dracotail and 3 Izunas knowing that by the time they come from Germany to me they'll be like pringles.
Like throwing 230€~ into the trash it feels like.

It's not always that this happens, but no matter how well I store them they just end up like that eventually.
I always double sleeve too...
Not even sure I want to get the Ultimate rare staples I missed out on from rarity the past year or so, because the ones I have (ash and the first 2 collections) are all curling and it's an uphill battle.

I tried to iron them, I tried to put them on slow heat, I tried the foil+boiling water trick, I tried the hairdryer method and it's dogshit. Brute force bending them the opposite way is the only one that works, but is not foolproof and risks damage (weird uneven warping). Books don't do shit, they curl back right away.
Tried humidors, tried dehumidifying with sealed + silica.
Tried to put them into one of those clear-plastic ultra pro sealable boxes with a bunch of salt...

Please brothers and sisters bless me with some of your wisdom because I'm legit going mad from the thought of trying to get back into this game while EVERY FUCKING CARD THEY PRINT I NEED IS ULTRA RARE AND SUPER...

Issue I have with the weird moisture claim is the following:
Cards bend like a banana first, so from top to bottom, forwards towards the foil.

Claim: This is because the cardboard expands, the pringle curle is when it shrinks due to dry conditions.
Solution: Dry out the card.
Issue as a result: Cards don't actually flatten out, they just start curling back in the pringe/side curling fashion.
That curl then forces the card to be more straight, but the issue the presents that the edges curl back, while the top corners curl forward.
This caused odd, uneven warping at times which are notable damage in my eyes.

So I'm somewhat skeptical that it is entirely moisture related.

If you hold on to nostalgia/popular decks like Dark Magician, Blue-eyes, HERO, Blackwings or Raye you're basically investing in gold since it will always appreciate in value despite the dips. It's only bad to get attached to filler tier decks which everybody forgets even exists like Bounzers or Battlewasps

It's weird to think that running 2 copies of Torrent in the side for 3 copies as the Normal Summon would almost be a consideration in Merlanteans vs VSK9 and Yummy if it weren't for the existence of the Trap/Nasch Knight and Arc Light, VSK9's a little more capricious in utilizing Torrent as the NS because they'd only ever use the Trap last and you're really banking on extending through Izuna but Yummy is so exceptionally fucking annoying because Torrent can't beat the Arc Light and it's also a fucking floodgate that shuts out your deck

The side deck isn't some cool feature used to even the playing field like people will tell you, it's a cess pool of silver bullets and turn skips and it encourages one dimensional deck building in the main deck.
Now I already know most of you fags will disagree with this just because or you'll make the same retarded claim that I just want MD features (literally do not play MD, haven't played since season 1, it's not even installed on my computer and I've been making this argument against the side deck for longer than MD's existence) but that couldn't be further from the truth.
Nothing good has come from the side deck, whatever intent was there when it was made is being abused.

Games artstyle is finally getting "unified" and i don't think i really like it.
I don't know how to describe it other than "Branded".
Diabelstar, Killertune, P.U.N.K, medius even the really out there stuff like hecantocherries (they remind me of despia), all of them wouldn't look out of place in a Branded filler arc. Probably all of em handled by the same artist(s).
And while it's not a bad artstyle perse, i just find it kinda boring and generic. It's nice that yugioh is carving a new visual identity for itself, but it's too safe and clean, two words that are pretty anti Yu-Gi-Oh.

Yeah I'm not liking it either. It feels like 2/3 of every archetype is just some random gacha characters or vtubers.
All so quirky and unique~ that they all feel the same.
The effects and decks are also streamlined out of the gate so there is basically no freedom for emergent gameplay at all.
You can just slap together some cards or "engines" with pre-designed synergy making the deck unique by the handtraps of your choice...

Everything is so homogenized it's lame. Even the eldritch monsters they throw in randomly just don't hit as hard as old cards even though the art quality is technically maybe better or rather, more detailed.
The designs remain slop. I get why it's happening, but I don't buy that the nip audience demands this if the game was still soulful and good at it's core.
Remember Duel Masters is basically eternal #2 in Japan after Pokemon and they have some of the best designs I've ever seen in a card game without it devolving into waifuslop.

Some of that is fine, but it has become the majority. I also despise so many retrains because they don't have the edge the old cards did.

It's explained elsewhere but what Seto made Gozaburo agree to was a 2v1 Chess game between him, Seto and Mokuba.

Now this is obviously a stupid idea because all you need to do to win is simply repeat the moves the opponent does right back at them so they're playing against themselves and this is exactly what Seto exploited which makes no sense since Gozaboru as a chess grandmaster should have been aware of this obvious exploit of the game but I guess for the sake of the plot he let it happen.

This card has to be one of the most fascinating cards Konami has released in recent years. It harkens to Flicker strategies from MTG, where you quickly remove and play a card to shed effects and reset usage restrictions on cards and trigger play synergies
By all means this card conceptually is a slam dunk, aside from it just simply returning instead of Summoning it again.
But modern Yugioh is so HOPT-pilled that the card just simply doesn't do anything to most cards in the game.
There's just no format where this specific card shines. It's too new to be in Time Wizard where soft OPTs actually show up and every other format is just Advanced so its still filled with HOPTs
