there is no expansion that disappointed in every single way like shadowlands. WoD had good raids. Battle for Azeroth had some incredible zones with awesome questing, solid raids and even a couple really fun dungeons. Cataclysm delivered more content than any expansion before or since. I just started tww a couple days ago.
I really like it so far. I like delves a lot. Just having some content you can do whenever is neat.
I also really like the horrific visions returning. I think just the fact blizzard brought something back and improved on it is fantastic. They have so many different mechanics / concepts that were scrapped after an expansion that really shouldnt have been.

Dawntrail is objectively better than endwalker, once you subtract the story. Likely what has happened in my opinion with OG is that the story only andies or story primary andies have finally gotten the veil lifted with dawntrails terrible msq, and now are looking at the faults of the game, such as jobs being stale (newsflash this was a complaint in endwalker at the start but got ignored cause heckin scrimblo bimbo from patch 5.2 showed up for 1 millisecond). It's very much like the MoP of FFXIV where there's a huge story turnoff for alot of people but the gameplay was super fun.
