In my experience a Kotl with relocate is good for tard wrangling, retard pos 1 who is farmed enough still afk farming while your team is doing an objective? Force him to join the team and actually do something.

Hence why you get the aghs, gank early to stop your lanes from falling apart. Past minute 20 or so you either go hunting in the jungle for pos 1s farming or you join a teamfight with ult, smash into some mage and then burrow and spam your spells off cd. You are very tanky below ground, do pretty good dmg with dagon and mindflare and have two pretty damn good stuns with your Q in a line and with E in a circle around you. You can basically perma stun people and you sustain well with lifesteal and the increased mana regen and cd reduction.

To really seal the deal get a windwaker to just float away while burrowed.

If you are the kind of player that enjoys doing lots of magic dmg and a bit of an unusual playstyle I highly recommend it. Its pretty damn fun.

I have never lost a game as Tidehunter when I've managed to get refresher + mana pool item.

I've started with League, the concept of earning gold and becoming stronger and starting from nothing in every match was really appealing to me.
