Attack with what? Haven has fuck all Rush. Their Storm is behind Amulets that usually can not be popped the turn you play them. Haven does not attack BY DESIGN. If you mean attack with the unit you spend an Evo point on, then maybe? But you spend Haven Evo on Crests or "oh god I am gonna die", not attacking after evolving is not the most outrageous thing ever depending on enemy board state.
For instance let's say you evo'd Marw, and there's a Gildaria down several turns later. If I have four Crests I can now just Immaculate the Gildaria and the Crest will kill the 2/2, instead of wasting a SEvo on Salefa and swinging her into Gildaria.

i think it's great precisely because it doesn't need the evolve. really, the big thing imo is that it shuts down albert for 5pp in the late game and if sword does t7 odin while going second you can play this card to kill odin and make 2 wards to hide your sevo 7/7 behind and the 4/4 statline makes it hard for amalia to break through without sword sevoing back. the wards being 4hp carries the card incredibly hard. since it's 5pp the wards can carry you on t8 to block albert and then set up for a t9 gin that removes their counter amalia while also healing you for 4.

I like Ruby since the deck is a bit prone to bricking. I feel like the only major downside is when you want to play her but don't have cards you want to shuffle back.
As for Strike of the Dragonnewt... I agree, but sometimes sword likes to play like aggro and it can save my face in early game.
Dragonslayer is rather cheap removal with a small body.
Garyu doesn't seem bad and I've pulled two. For now I can't craft any leggos.
