Oh good, someone is talking about the creation of Kamyuhn again, now I can go in-depth about it about it.

When Kodaka made Route 0 and 2nd scenario, there was no Kamyuhn, she was just flavor text in Eva's bond events and that was it.

But then the KG writer was like, "I want Kamyuhn in my story" and then he strong armed Kodaka into putting her into the game, in fact Rui Komatsuzaki didn't even make Kamyuhn, and it's unknown who actually did.

And then the Boruto writer was making Rebellion and he wanted in on that Kamyuhn shit and tired to make Kamyuhn the leader of the Rebellion (even though she wasn't one in KG)

And Kodaka was like "We already have a Rebellion in Eva route and she's not the leader" and the Boruto writer was like "then CHANGE it you faggot", and then Kamyuhn got added into Eva route even though she wasn't there to start with and didn't bother to change the endings.

As for BoC, I think that route was made before KG, as Kamyuhn doesn't even talk in that route.

And that's the story of Kamyuhn, a character who didn't exist until halfway through development.

I feel like the options are pretty obvious for the most part for 2nd scenario and if you do veer off in the wrong direction the game tends to make that clear especially with the pacing going through days faster or not having you go to the cafeteria manually anymore.

For SF you need to have done both Slashers, Mystery, and a specific route of BoC both endings of it. That route involves focusing on the shadow instead of Kako and then going to Sirei right away when asked.

This. I do not understand why the lock system was so half-assed. Why do you get to freely spoil Slasher by playing Box of Calamity in full first? Why is the player not required to play Killing Game at all despite how important it is for SF? I don't get it.

If Kodaka didn't want it for the second scenario stuff, fine. But the G'ie plotline clearly has an intended order and the player is just allowed to fuck it up willy-nilly. The game clearly wants you to go Slasher (Zombie) -> Slasher (Killer) -> Box of Calamity -> Killing Game -> Mystery (Up To Lock) -> SF (Up To Lock) -> Mystery (Finish) -> SF (Finish) but only the last two routes have any locks and what locks they do have are either nonsensical or not nearly enough to preserve the logical order of reveals.

Kodaka has said he had no idea locks were in the game. So it was all on Uchikoshi planning this out, I do think it’s a bit bad that BoC can be done first and spoil every kill route. I think KG is better done before BoC though since it makes you wonder about time hopping Eito as a culprit for a long time and also wondering where his ass came from. I think SF to lock ->KG->Mystery->Zombie->Killer->BoC is the better play order. I saw people when it came out say the slasher twist was obvious but after seeing the PLM in the lock, sponsor was apparently a zombie, time hopping Eito, in Slasher I didn’t see it coming because I had way more things to suspect.

Maybe Uchikoshi didn’t want to lock off too much of the game so he just did it to his routes?

And I hate to break it to you, you're gonna see more of that as we get more routes that are even more different from R0/2S. You're gonna have to expand your mind a bit and realize that these characters are designed to be flexible, or you're gonna have a bad time.

I didn't think anything in KG was that egregious outside of like super minor things. And some of it I liked better. It's the only route where Kamyuhn has an actual personality for instance.

I have read countless critiques of KG and most of them are either screaming about tiny fudged details or whining about characters being OOC without actually elaborating on what the fuck they mean.

I assume the returning SDU would face *some* discrimination for being biologically Futuran, but depending on mission success, I don't think many would care.

If the Futurans are eliminated, then they become the heroes of humanity who secured them a new homeworld. You'd have to be pretty fucking paranoid to act up in that scenario.

If the Futurans aren't eliminated in any given route, the situation becomes more complicated. I don't think we know enough about the Exodus leaders or humanity at large to make a prediction about how that would turn out, but I imagine their presence would be more divisive to say the least.

KG is an interesting case because technically they didn't fulfill the mission... but the Invader Hunt may have left the Futuran population so devastated that there wouldn't be a hard resistance to human occupation.
