Having a lot of fun with Thor. He is threatening to replace my love of Magik. The thing with Magik is that she is so much weaker than and has poor match-ups against the strongest heroes in the game. Emma, Torch, Psy, Bucky, even Phoenix and Hela etc. just make her life miserable. She has to giga-outplay them to get equal or greater value than they get almost by default. Magik also has a little known passive ability: the ability to spawn an enemy flyer. I also like 1v1s, and Thor is the 1v1 king.

Her decision making is hard because she's a relatively fragile Melee character who is versatile but does not specialize in any one thing. She can flank, but her mobility or escape are not as free as Spidey, BP, or Psy's. She usually has to commit a dash and a portal to get a backline kill, leaving her with a 10 meter portal to get out of the enemy backline. She can brawl, but has to be very careful as she has 250 base HP, and it's very easy to explode to random Hela/SG/etc. spam.

Just finished a match with 40k healing on that new rumble mode. Saw tanks soaking up around 70. Random QP game.

No, he's not. Adam isn't either. I'm so sick and tired of idiots that go on about triple support but don't even know the raw numbers of the heroes they play. Many of these idiots think C&D is a burst healer.
What you want is a sustain and burst healer. Ultron is a sustain healer.
Ultron is also much better at staying alive, peeling, putting pressure, assisting any ally with damage or even directly attacking the enemy backline, which no other Strategist can do and creates tons of utility for his team.

As for his healing, it's supposed to constantly heal allies in a huge area to offload the burst healer and move his drone to heal whoever needs it (which he is usually better positioning to do, since he flies and can heal targets outside of the other healers LoS). If needed, Ultron can also move his drone and shield the target to either help one ally or more allies against a burst of damage.
Ultron pairs well with heroes like Invis, Luna and Adam. Partially because he can help defend them against divers.

You do not need 3 healers with Ultron.

Idk I hopped on Jeff and if you can dedicate probably two braincells to positioning you'll do fine. I just positioned myself so most of my team was in a line and healed, bubbled the arena and my teammates when they needed it, and swam away from dive. Most Jeffs do that. It's just because a lot of the support ults are absurdly powerful/a team will mental boom and throw if they see a Jeff. I've been playing him recently myself and granted it's just in QP I have lost all motivation for ranked but I find he does quite fine and the consistant healing and speed boosts can enable tanks a lot. Hell his ult is nice in its own right too, saved a few teams from Groot ults and enabled a lot of Wanda ults with it as opposed to just opting for the suicide ult strat, he has his problems but I genuinely don't feel he's as bad as people make him out to be, but I feel like that about a lot of characters. Yes other supports are better, yes shit like Luna ult is really powerful but I find in most cases things like that alone aren't reasons games are lost, even in ranked back when I bothered.

Torch is extremely powerful, you shouldn't really die as him at all so he's relatively safe, provides area denial with triangles and boxes you can make, can burst and nuke targets who stay low at a moments notice by diving in and his ult can kill through support ults if combo with Groot, without a Groot it's even more area denial and as a game approaches OT when people are forced to touch point it can get insane value. Your positioning is bad if you die as him a lot, your little flight speed increase shit alongside strafing around like a spaz makes you hard to hit, couple in melee spam helps. You shouldn't be peeking too long if you're just doing pokes from long range because you just setup a zone and head back behind cover. Your shotgun is nice for tanks or anyone harassing the backline until you have numbers advantage and can push with your team. Yes they can outheal the burn damage but all damage can be outhealed, you're looking at it in isolation and not what it brings to a team. Supports taking that burn damage and not moving out, just healing it sets them up for being killed by other members on your team. If they move out they'll be in a bad position setting them up for being killed too. Constant damage and pressure like that can go a long way and diving in to finish someone off or stacking your fire spots to instantly kill someone is really valuable. You can shut down off angles or high grounds the enemy wants to use making a lot of characters less effective in general.

They will not move like players, but you will become more familiar with your heroes projectiles, tracking your hitscan shots and such.

I've also found that playing Ultron is good practice for hitscan tracking since you have a visually clear beam with multiple hits so you can tell when you're consistently hitting with it and how to move your aim.
