My read was that Vanquisher was totally reset every 3 months; like people would need to re-do placement matches or something. Reading it again (not in the middle of the night when the notes dropped) I think your interpretation seems more correct. Hmmm, I guess that's a problem for them to address in future, though it won't be THAT bad as long as DR is factored into matchmaking in Vanquisher. Maybe they'll de-rank people (from vanquisher) who aren't active for an amount of time eventually.

Only other Fausts will feel this, the new fS change is so small in theory but it actually feels like crack. So many times fS would whiff before you get 2H to connect now, we were dealing with this shit for YEARS. Slightly easier to confirm CH fS into tornado now which also helps the issue of clipping extended hurtboxes. Landing a lot more 2H off blocked fS cause people don’t realize the new spacing. Tornado change I thought was nothing but it lets you get cS 2S in mix loops more often and lets you do cS in places you had to do 5K before. 6H change sucks but at least they thought about it enough to be functional. If they had just fixed BCE and finally fixed 5HH’s guaranteed burst point (only burstable hit grab because ?) I would be pretty happy, unfortunately they did not. Got to Vanquisher with my king, despite the dooming he’ll never not be the most fun character in the game.
