Learn the three lessons of Disco Elysium:
1. Failing can be fun/interesting, treat it as just another branch
2. High intensity non-combat that feels like combat
3. Very high number of skill checks which again, can be interesting when failed

My other advice would be put other kinds of bond development just as high as romance. Friendly rivalry, betrayal, comradery, winning respect, mentorship, there are a kajillion possibilities. History will look back at the hyper focusing on romance and cringe.

I played Rogue Trader for 48 hours, and I don’t like my class. I don’t want to respec because playing half the game with one class and half with another feels off, plus I’d miss out on the early-game experience of the other class.
No, the issue isn’t the game itself. I really enjoy the game and its combat. I just don’t like the class.
I’m currently playing as a Biopsyker-Warrior-Executioner, but I’m thinking about starting over as an Arbitrator-Soldier-Archmilitant.
The problem is that I feel reluctant about the time I’ve already invested, and I’m not entirely sure how to build my party to avoid repeating second-rank archetypes while keeping Argenta in the group.

He’s too strong and completely broken. I got the psyker breastplate and that trinket that guarantees psychic phenomena and boosts the first ability cast per round by 3 psychic rating.
Plus overall, I didn’t really enjoy melee combat, but I loved ranged damage. I like how my Argenta rains down heavy bolter fire across half the map while shouting, “EACH SHOT IS A PRAYER!” Very epic. Shotguns also look and sound incredibly juicy.

Argenta is usually played as a Bolter and Burst focused build, something you aren't really gonna do as Arbites. I mostly view Arbites as more of a melee archetype if anything, competing with Abelard,Jimmy,Kibbs and Solo.

One last thing before I take a wage break until next week - when fighting the crazy natural armor demon in Drezen's tavern, I used dispel magic to remove his mirror image and shield. I also used a rod of maximise metamagic when casting dispel. The dispel worked, but I didn't care to read the rolls at the time. Does maximize actually work with dispel, or only heighten?

The only grand strategist in my party is the Rogue Trader, because he's grand and he's got the strategy.

Metamagics don't work on dispel attempts. Only caster level does. The roll is Caster Level+d20 vs Enemy's Buff Caster Level+11. Once you're done with the siege you can purchase a pair of goggle that make it so you roll a 20 on your next dispel attempt, this buff lasts until you actually make a dispel attempt so you can use the item, rest, and then use the item again on another party member to "pre-buff" a supercharged dispel chain.

First of all, Demons can't merge with Wizard or with any other class for that matter. Second, Demons have the highest spell DCs in the game because of all the bonuses they get from their Demonic Rage.

Wizards CAN merge with Lich, and this will supercharge the speed at which you can grab higher level spells because your Caster Level gets your Mythic Rank added on top of it. So for example a Level 13 Wizard at Mythic Rank 4 will be able to cast level 9 spells, because you effective caster level is 17 (13+4). You get higher spell DCs by virtue of being able to cast spells at higher levels earlier, but Demons will inevitably catch up with a Lich in that regard, while adding all their bonuses from Demonic Rage.

No, but that's just one or two characters and usually not enough to end encounters in 1-2 turns. The fact that you can casually haste your entire party and essentially double your action economy, or apply Wet and double your damage output, means you're playing with sometimes 5 times the resources of the average non-powergamer, without even trying.

If it's handled maturely I think it can be useful in setting up villains or showing consequences of failure in war (ie, enemy army brutalizes the populations of cities they capture). You will find that the game is actually pretty easy if you have even a halfway decently put together party. I also tend to only run at most 4 people parties, but for a new player that's kind of shooting yourself in the foot. Unless you were aware of the setting to give more xp when you don't have a full party and at least made use of that (personally I wouldn't bother and just set the experience multiplier in Toybox to whatever you would have got with your desired party size, so for 4 party members that would be 1.5).
Your composition sounds decent enough, assuming you're actually buffing. You should have access to Death Ward for instance and by act 3 it can easily be 24 hours long if you rushed Greater Enduring Spells on Daeran. It sucks to have to recommend mods for a new player but Pathfinder is built around buffs, so I'd heavily recommend you use https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderwrathoftherighteous/mods/195 along with Enduring Spells to streamline that whole process.

Weirdly enough completing the MarazhaiCompanion etude skips the glitch but noticeably still has Marazhai absent from the party.

Just an idea, but it's possible that "completing" that etude is telling the game "ok Marazhai's not a companion anymore, that etude is finished"
You could try completing that etude to escape the glitch, then "uncompleting" it and adding him back in manually with the Add feature in the toybox Party tab

I'm 6 episodes into this and only just realized it's a jim henson studios thing, wild.
It has a really unique character to it, and what's 'bad' is charmingly bad. It's very Captain John Spacecaptain and I really like it so far. Not sure how it would be as a CRPG, but there's a lot of lore.
