Why do modern MMO pvp'ers think pvp gear is good for the game?
Is it because it allows you to win thru simple stat checks because you had more time to grind for it?
Pvp gear was the worst addition wow ever created, it killed world pvp and it made gamified the entire pvp process into another skinnerbox.
I don't understand how anyone thinks it's a new positive.
If you want competitive battlegrounds or arenas, fight for standardized gear and levels like guild wars pioneered.
You don't need any special gear sets or anything else, just bring your room and play, it's pure skill that way.

This pvp gear however undermines the pvp itself, literally making it so you can't world pvp unless you grind for gear in bgs and arenas to be competitive, which then kills world pvp because everyone is busy grinding.

I just do not get it and I do not get how the people who claim to be pvp'ers but support pvp gear, can't realize they're just a different form of care bear.
