This post is directed mainly to Jonathan Rogers. Do you have a gambling problem or fetish that you are trying to force upon me? The crafting system is almost at the maximum disappointing and frustrating. It is a instant roulette of disappointment with no guarantee that eventually it will work in your favor. I tried to finish the campaign may times and I am one boss fight away from doing so at the closest but I always quit playing the game because of the gear progression system. The only real options at my disposal are go trade, which I find ungratifying if done is excess or make a sacrifice to the gods or RNG so i can get a decent item. As i see it in the last patch we will get some good new mechanics but in a proportional manner we will get more bad ones so the whole system stays the same as far as level of frustration. I want 3 choices of modifier from start to finish (transmutation, augmentation, regal, exalt and alchemy), I want to choose which modifier to reroll with with chaos and which to remove with annulment and so on. I WANT A REAL CRAFTING SYSTEM, NOT A SLOT MACHINE OF DISSAPOINTMENT then give up and go trade so I can progress gear wise.

What's the point of bleed damage?

Consider a 10% chance to bleed node.
That's 10% per hit chance of 15% of the physical damage you dealt that attack per second for 5 seconds

Considering it's trivial to get 3.3 attacks per second, and that bleed don't stack. I would be investing a notable for a whooping 100% uptime of 15% of the physical damage for a single hit, so 15%/3.3 hits per second.
A bit less than 5% more damage IF my attacks are 100% physical which is pretty much never.

It basically means the enemy is ready to be frozen/stunned/electrocuted/whatever by a skill that interacts with primed enemies.
Different types of enemies have different prime thresholds, white enemies are already primed at 50% of stun buildup, uniques require like 75% or something, don't remember it off the top of my head. It's when the buildup bar changes color and they light up for boneshatter or whatever.

Your ascendancy should be giving you stuff that even supports and the passive tree can't provide, like Amazon turning Accuracy from a dead stat to the best source of flat damage in the game or Smith getting 90% all resists.

please look up how Cull works in poe2, it's legit dog shit because it only checks threshold BEFORE hit damage is applied, not after.
If you hit a mob with 100% health and bring it to 30% it does NOT get culled because the hit was at 100% health. You need to make a SECOND attack against it at 30% life to trigger cull..........BUT IT WOULD HAVE DIED ANYWAYS SO THE CULL DOES NOTHING.

Then against Rares and Uniques cull gets dumpstered even harder. It only culls against Rares at 10% and Uniques at 5%......but if you're attacking a rare mob with only 10% life left it's gonna die anyways, and 5% cull against pinnacles is so low it's basically worthless AND if you really need Cull at that point you don't need an ascendancy to do it.


Witch Hunter is a far cry from PoE1 Slayer's universal 20% cull. In PoE1 Cull triggers POST-HIT, so an attack that brings an enemy from 100% to 20% will cull instantly, and Slayer Cull works at full effect even against uniques. They purposefully fucked over Culling Stroke in PoE2 to be basically useless.

I doubt it. They'd probably sudoku if Druid at the minimum isn't ready for 0.4. And now that there should in theory be no need to redo supports they should have plenty of time to work on it. There's also the towers/endgame changes they're doing to the Atlas in 0.4 as well but I think that's going to look more like more pinnacle bosses and better map progression, so should be relatively not time consuming. Though it'd be hilarious if druid and duelist get delayed again because they feature creeped the update again for even more stuff no one asked for. We know at the minimum they have an internal version with the shadow/assassin and druid

Yeah, I have convinced myself to not leaguestart Blood Mage. Reap being tied to a staff is horrendous and spooky bone spells do NOT thematically match (plus channeling bonestorm is cancer what with it literally MISSING small monsters). The only thing that would change my mind is if they reveal a keystone that converts elemental spells to physical or other independent blood spells get revealed right before launch/on datamine.
For now, I'll be starting with chaos fire skills Lich.
